I was very bored today because it was such a humid and hot day. Didn't really feel like studying, but I'll do it later. So I decided to run some RC's. Took a look at the stable, didn't want to do any work to run something. Because I haven't put on the electronics for a lot of them and the electronics are just lying in the basement. So I looked around and decided to bring the tank out. It's been ages since I drove it. After I waited for the battery to charge up. I took it outside. It was more fun than I remembered! I was driving it up and down a small dirt/sand/pebbles hill and firing the BB rounds. What a great pass time! I am still using the battery that came with the tank. Anybody tried something else? Like a hobby grade pack? Does it make it better? I find it doesn't turn that good on grass. I am contemplating on getting one of the new bulldogs right now. I also saw the Pershing deal with all the goodies including the metal track set. What is the advantage of the metal track set? I am really liking the Bulldog though.

I am just using th 2000's that came with mine and they last forever. Good enough for me. You have the older faster motor version do you not? I'll have to get mine outside as soon as I can to try it out. I am getting a bulldog as well as soon as they are in Canada. I don't know about those metal tracks. I would love them for there reaslism and weight, I would be worried about the stress they add to the tank. I want to use mine so I thought the plastic tracks would be easier on the tank. Pluss its a cheap stress point. 8 bucks worth of tracks is good for 100's of repairs... |

Aren't the Bulldogs already in Canada? I saw them in stock on Matotoys. I never knew about the motor change. How much slower is the motors in the tanks right now? I had a couple more runs with the tank yesterday before I packed up. It was great! I also ran my Pajero for a while. The tank seems to climb better than my Pajero! Is there a specific size of BB's I can get from Walmart for the tanks? I am running out of the cheap stock stuff.

I already have my Bulldog. My favorite tank so far. So far the super versions have been pretty good. I bought 6mm BBs from Walmart and thru away the HL ones. The Bulldogs BBs are a zillion times better then the old ones were. But I would still not bother considering how cheap they are for good ones. I have fired hundreds so far and haven't had a jam yet. Keeping my fingers crossed... |
