There was nothing scientific about the choice of motor, it was recommended by a friend who knows more than I do so I can't really say more. The gearing is (at the moment) standard. It seems to work very well but if anyone has any advice it would be welcome. Heat hasn't been an issue, yet, but it hasn't run above minus 8c. The esc does have a fan so I guess it should keep cool when it's not so cold. The upgrades really are worthwhile, especially when you see it plowing through deep powder snow at high speed. If anyone has any ideas for improvement, please let me know. CJ |
