AST, I will try to explain it. 1. remove complete diff 2. loosen set screw and remove silver hubs from each drive shaft 3. remove 2 3mm locknuts and slide off the brake pad and disk 4. remove brake arm by loosening set screw 5. remove small brass puck that is visible, note location as there are 2 holes 6. slide brake "shaft" out and turn over 7. re-install brake shaft from bottom and re-install brass puck into oposit hole it was removed from 8. re-install all parts in reverse order as they were removed 9. brake arms should be under main deck of chassis now, so you need to flip your steering servo upside down so that all your linkages are below main deck Hope this helps, not really that hard to do, actually I think it took me all of about 30-45 minutes to do last night. You will understand it better once you start to tear thinks apart. Do one side at a time so if you get stumped you have the other side for reference. Z-Rider While you have the diff out, fill it with some 100,000 or 120,000wt "diff lock" silicone if you have not already done so. |
