Where do you think Tamiya got the designs? If you send people to take measurements and photos of REAL tanks and them come up with a model its not stealing even if it is exactly the same as another company. Its only stealing if you buy the other companies kit and then reverse engineer the molds. Even if you did you could change enough of the details to have plausable deniablity without messing up the over all scale of the tank. They did what they did to save $$$ pure and complex
