The Heng Longs are great value for the money. Sure they're not as fancy as the Tamiyas, but Tamiya tanks are way too expensive for me to even consider. So far I have 5 tanks, plus tons of spares and accessories and have barely spent $1000 to date. That's equal to what? One Tamiya tank? As far as quality goes, each new batch gets better and better. They changed the boards when they went to smoke and sound. The smoke unit design was changed. Then they added the slipper clutches, now the new tanks have metal gearboxes, more robust boards and higher capacity batteries. Sprinkled in there are tanks with lower rpm motors, my smoke Pershing with slipper clutch and Panther with the metal gears came with the slower motors. Now if they'd design a more robust airsoft unit. Tired of looking at broken breeches! |
