Well I've got the diff filled up with Tamiya AW grease today whilst I was retro-fitting the thing with ballrace bearings.  I havent managed to run it yet, mainly due to the rain and the fact I didnt get it back in one piece till nearly 8pm.... but it does feel much more firm when turning the tracks over by hand; hopefully I can run it tomorrow and let you all know how this one works. just so you know AW grease is a really heavy high viscous grease - so stiff its actually tough to squeeze it outta the tube it comes in... should have a similar effect to the taffy-esque 120,000wt oil...
