And just to let everybody know getting the diff out is so simple its sad really. Remove the 2 screws on the front plate (or remove all 4 and put the plate aside like I did). Then remove the brace screws from the sides at the diff end and the center of the chassis. ![]() This will give you enough play to pop the brakes out of the diff. Everything stays in one piece so its easy to remove ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Open the diff up and say ew to the aluminum diff gears and great job of greasing the diff. (I'm being very sarcastic here) ![]() ![]() Add your diff lock oil until it covers the shaft. While your add it add some grease to your diff case. Shake your head again at the rtr builders adacity to not grease your diff! ![]() Pop you diff back in and screw the 8 screws to hold everything together. ![]() ![]() And then go check it out! |
