My prayers were answered. Weather turned colder and now everything is covered in ice or hard crusty snow
I'm amazed at how easy this thing is to start. It runs beautifully and is pretty responsive, but as I mentioned earlier, it drinks alot. I took it out in the yard today for some testing, and I am very pleased. The blizzard can climb almost anything when going slow, and when the second gear kicks in it can fly over almost anything. It doesn't even notice knee-deep footprints However I don't think it is quite as fast as the brushless EV in the video gallery. I'll need more space to test that.Anyone have an idea of something better than CA glue to glue the rubber feet onto the tracks? Every single one of them flew off pretty fast on my rampage.... Pictures and possibly a video clip may be posted soon, but still haven't gotten my paint yet. |
