I got that effect by taking the picture with the shutter open for an extended length of time. For the most part when you take a picture the shutter is only open for a fraction of a section, but in this pic it was open for two full seconds. During the two seconds that the shutter was open i waved an orange light over the vehicle, and the result is what you see above. It's sort of the same effect you see in pictures of cars on a highway at night, where all you see is streaks of light and no cars. |
