I would assume the big problem is lack of torque with the nitro motors. It would need to be geared way down. Then it would have no top speed. So that would explain the 2 speed in the nitro. It gives it the best of both worlds. Electric on the other hand has no torque issues. So you can gear accordingly. Now adding gears only adds to your choices. I think that adding an emaxx 2 speed or Tamiya 3 speed is a natural conversion. |
