Well I am not much of one to reply. But as there are no-one else at the moment, I'll tell what little I know and hopefully someone can answer better later. I grabbed these pictures off the net. I know that the DX used 2 380 motors. So its able to turn on the spot. It used a plastic tub chassis, and had 10 rubber tires. Options at the time were a front plow and rear snow groomer. Whether those were options from Kyosho or Groupner (sp) I am not sure. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The newer EV has much likeness to a Twin Force. It uses aluminum side plates and bottom plate bolted together into a box. Comes with plastic wheels, and uses differential braking to steer. It shares 90% of its parts with the nitro version. It should be able to handle more power then the DX without issue (just guessing there) seeing as the nitro version I have heard guys dropping in 15's without issue. Because of its side plates design the torque of the tracks will / can bend the plates. The answer seems to be run it in reverse. The plates push against the braces then rather then pull away from them. Or run some bracing. New heavy duty sideplates would work well too. ![]() ![]()
