oh u

Really? I thought it was pretty decent. Considering the previous two movies and the setup they were working with, alot of the stuff was inevitable, and I thought they did alright with what they had to work with. Definitely better than episode I at least.

Also, it had the best ending ever.

The Anakin trilogy was kinda useless in general.

That whole high ground/chosen one scene made me lose my last bit of interest in the film.

Oh yeah, the high ground, forgot about that. Can't disagree with you there.

Obi-Wan = best thing about ep 2 and 3
Anakin = worst thing about the entire new trilogy

roymbrog: I saw Star Wars on TV before you were born. Some things ARE hard not to have seen.

crazy as... something

Something coming out way before I was born is a pretty good reason for not seeing it.

I saw SW 5, 3, and a little bit of 1.

5 was good, 3 was pretty kewl, and 1 was retarded, for the lack of a better word.

Return of the Jedi came in 1983. It's older than by far most people here, if not all. Guess it must have died down far more by the late nineties than when I was a little kid, or something.

I definitely saw it when I was a kid and it came back into theaters, around the mid 90's iirc. I also remember it being a pretty big deal.

It did, that's when I saw them. I remember the decision between seeing the amazing Star Wars or going to a free skating thing where there'd be shit tons of people.

there's never enough time

Well, the Star Wars movies were on television quite a bit, so that's where I saw all of the old trilogy, but I don't think there's anything wrong with not having seen something.

Hey, I'm not saying I never wanted to see it. I'm just explaining why I never did see it as a kid...

I think he means the idea of disregarding something that's older than you in general. There's alot of good older movies. Alien and its sequel ftw.

If you didn't see Star Wars, I don't mind really. I can understand really, it just happened to be a huge part of my childhood.
