I only played one, and tore through it on hard on one continue the first time I played it. Never did try the hardest difficulty though. Hard was easy though. It was... uh... cherry blossom something. |

Just takes practice. I grew up on these types of games. ... still can't beat Ikaruga on one continue on hard, and I've been playing that game for almost a year. I can on easy and normal though. |

Perfect Cherry Blossom I find to actually be a bit harder than, say, Imperishable Night. I dunno why, though. I blame Stage 4. <_< I grew up on Final Fantasy VII and Duke Nukem. Also, Ikaruga is awesome. |

I tend to use Marisa A. Occasionally Reimu A. Marisa/Alice in Imperishable Night as well, mainly for auto-collect and delicious Alice. |

Yeah, auto collect is sweet, and malice cannon is awesome. Remilia/Sakuya can work well, too, since they're both awesome and Sakuya makes point items drop slower and stuff. It's weird, Marisa A seems like the better choice in most of the games, 'cause it swaps the laser for more power, but... Master Spark... Also, Danoh, that'd be Reimu A, I think. |

I haven't played much, but of what I've tried I like Reimu the best, if only for the homing attack. It's nice knowing I can concentrate on dodging while still hitting the enemy, even if it doesn't do much damage.

Yeah, Marisa's the only one that can't hit the entire screen. <_< Reimu has her homing bullets, and Sakuya just hits the entire screen at full power. Also, I'm mad. I played through Imperishable Night really well, (no lives lost until stage 4, and only one then, two on stage 5, three on stage 6) and went to Final A instead of Final B. Then pwned Eirin and I got pissed off because even though it says to play through it without using a continue, it means Final B. Now I can't do as well. <_< ... %%a So, right after I posted that, I played it again, and succeeded. I failed all of Kaguya's last spells, but who cares, I still won. |
