And yes, you pick the pokemon you want, movesets, EVs, IVs (they may seem complicated but you'll get used to it very soon). And no, you don't need to level them up. You choose the level you want them to be. http://www.smogon.com/dp/tiers/ This will help you choose the pokemon you want (I suggest picking from the OU [overused] tier)

No Uber though. And to join smogon's server, click advanced and follow f4p's instructions. Also, Garchomp is currently banned from any team but uber.

That'd be: one OU one BL and four UU's, I think. I think I might have a second BL, but I'm not sure. Well...let's see how it works. I'll get myself on the Smogon server soon.

The only problem is that Heatran literally has double resistance to both of Abomasnow's STAB moves and has a STAB Flamethrower that Abomasnow is double weak to. So one Heatran sweeps you. But assuming the other guy doesn't send out Heatran, you probably win every battle. Snow Warning is huge hax.

The problem of killing yourself with Hail is averted if you just use 6 Abomasnow, while the other guy probably has maybe 1 Poke that doesn't take damage from it, if that. Hail > Sandstorm.
