Hello everybody, and welcome to Final Fantasy: The Fall of Light! I originally started this RP on another site, but it didn't go so well. As such, I've decided that FF:TFoL will make it's new home --- It has been over a century since the shattering. The world is broken. The winds have stilled, the seas grow stagnant, and the earth rots. The lights of the sun and moon have been blotted out by dark clouds. Monsters are destroying the cities of the goodly races one by one, and soon the world will die. All of this because of that dreadful day. I barged into the sacred hall, but I was too late. Shards of crystal flew through the room and exploded into small motes of light. "No! You fools! What have you done!" The warriors clad in darkness stood upon the altar, and maniacal laughs resounded through the quickly collapsing hall. "Your world is over, die like a good little Light Warrior." A burning pain erupted from my chest as four swords plunged into my chest. I could feel the cold hand of death clenching down on my soul as it had done so many times before. There was once difference this time- no-one was here to bring me back. Blood filled my lungs and I thrashed in my death throes. "And so falls the final Warrior of Light." --- This is a post apocalyptic RP set in the world of Corneria. Corneria is not from any single Final Fantasy game, but is rather a composite of the themes from them all with a dark twist. There are very few cities left, and those that do are stalwart fortresses that are attacked on a weekly basis. There are seven continents in Corneria, and each holds only one or two cities. This RP begins on the southeastern continent which houses the great city of Ur. Ur is by far the largest city in the world and houses a fragment of the essence of one of the four shattered Crystals of Light (the Earth crystal, more specifically). This fragment holds very little power, but acts as a strong rallying point for all those who wish to fight back against the forces of darkness. No other such fragment exists in the world, and as such it is one of the only things keeping the world from being outright uninhabitable. Without further ado, let the RP begin! |

How so? I'm kind of interested, but I think that maybe the world needs a map, and I need to know how this RP is connected to FF. |
| just saying. | |

Hmm . . . I think maybe you shouldn't try to incorporate all Final Fantasies. 7 and 8 were super-futuristic, for instance, while the rest tend towards the fantasy medieval aspect. |

I said I would incorporate themes, not ALL themes. It will be for the most part a fantasy setting. |

Some days I wonder if it was worth it. Then, I realize, looking at the sky, that nothing is worth it. After all, what is worth? Worth is nothing. A mere word, invented by humans to signify that we think that we are important, too. We aren't. Then, as I think, I hear a voice calling to me. It calls my name. I walk towards the voice, heedless of my actions. After all, it doesn't matter. It isn't worth the safety. Nothing is worth anything. Walking, I see a man by a fire. He beckons for me to sit. I sit. And he asks me, "Why did you come?" I answer, "Staying there wasn't worth it, as nothing is worth anything." He replies, "If staying there wasn't worth it, and you came here, does not that mean that it was worth it to come here? Begone, you, and think more on the true meaning of life." I wake up the next morning, still in the field, on the ground. I stand. For it is worth it to stand. | |

Again, it says themes, not ALL themes. Besides, do you honestly expect me to go through each game and explain what I'm taking from it? |

In summary, I'm saying that I will take SOME themes from FF7 and FF8, but not all of them. |

In other words, leaving out the futuristic stuff. Slow on the uptake here, sorry. |

I should remake Quashee since his name works for a Qu clan character!!! And all he would do is eat imaginary food, real food, and enemies. And be a badass mage. |
