1st mug: at the left side, where the hair meets the cape, there is a white pixel. Fill that with the outline color. The right side of the collar is choppy and the neck has some pillow shading. Also, I don't suggest not using open mouth frames. 2nd mug: neck is also a bit pillowy 3rd mug: you are using two outline colors. stick to 1. Work with the shading at the forehead, above the right eye, between two bangs of hair. She also looks like she's going to fall asleep D: Use the open eyes frame! 4th mug: same mouth issue as the 1st one. |

Thanks for the tips... I'll get around to fixing these some time soon. One question though; what do you mean by pillowy? |

![]() 1st one is your sprite. Second one is Pent. Notice how you heavily shaded with part of the neck with the 4th shade of skin, then switched to the 3rd shade and did the same shape and finally repeated with the 2nd shade? That is pillow shading. Now take a look at the original sprite. You can see the 4th shade is only used in a few pixels near the outline and the rest of the shades don't follow that same pattern. That's how it should be. Always emulate the shading of the parts you use for your sprites. |
