For those of you with this system . . . Does the saving mechanism make use of Memory Cards? Or is it saved into the disc? Or is it saved into the system itself? And does it play GameCube games? |

Yes, the Wii does play Gamecube games. I haven't used it for playing Gamecube games very much, but it seems to work just as well as the Gamecube itself does. As for memory... the data for Wii games is saved on the system itself, while Gamecube games have to use Gamecube memory cards. |

So, in other words, you can't bring a disc over to a friend's house, say, and play your game on his system. |

I believe you can transfer your data on to, uh... some kind of USB memory thing, though. Sorry, I don't quite know exactly what it is. >_> v_v If you have one of those, you could move you save data onto it and bring it to a friend's house. |

Oh, right... I remember now. They're right, the Wii can use SD cards. (I think they can handle anything, though, not just the special Wii-specific ones.) |

Well... I don't see the point in making another wii questions topic... So... Forthose of you with Wii, what type of games should I expect? Is it hard to find satisfying games for it like the GC. And then explain what types of games you find fun, cause I may not agree haha. And is it still really kiddy? |
| just saying. | |

Only the first-party Nintendo games are decent/good. Well, there are one or two exceptions.
