Rhia She ran into the warehouse, slamming the door shut behind her as she shook. Outside on the streets, she could hear guards talking, pointing in different directions, assigning them to sweep the roads, to find the princess of Xenzin. Well, here she was, in this warehouse. Rhia would have died by now, if it weren't for her bodyguard, Keldia. The one who had seen her through this turmoil, when she and her father were overthrown by these non-believing rebels. Please...let Keldia return from wherever she went. And...maybe she has some new people to help me. She let out a yelp of fright. Were those footsteps? |

Keldia She groaned silently as she saw guards sweep through the streets. Well here we go...Normally it would be the male half of the family watching out for the Princess...But ever since my brother went missing when he was a child, and my parents dieing at the hands of demons I'm stuck with the burdens of being a bodyguard, and a Slayer... She thought, Child...The Princess is in the warehouse... Her sword told her silently. She signaled for Bane to follow up, she had hired him a few hours past, and she knew his loyalty would be put to the test soon. The albino nodded to her, and followed her to the warehouse. |

Rhia heard the footsteps growing. She ran behind a wall, not noticing she positioned herself in front of a window. It was difficult for the princess to keep herself from breathing loudly out of worry... |

Keldia "It's dark in here." She muttered, drawing her sword. The warehouse became brighter within seconds. She heard heavy breathing. "Princess, its all right, its me, and I brought some help." She said in the general area of where the breathing was coming from. |

~Falo~ "Why did I take on this job?" The dark-haired young man sighed despairingly as he carried the dirty sack down the street. "Why did the designers of this road include so many potholes?" The badly paved road almost seemed to buckle under him as he teetered forward. "Why is the warehouse lit?" He entered rather noisily, the large potato sack making it almost impossible for him to maneuver the corners. Expecting to find Fael, he was rather surprised at not seeing the irrepressibly cheerful guy going about his business. "And why am I getting the gitchy feeling?" |

~Falo~ "I'm a potato sack with legs. Who're you?" He wobbled dangerously as he walked straight into the wall in between him and Bane's voice. "Actually, I kinda work here. If you can call it work. More like slave labor, but without the added benefits of actually getting a place to sleep. Ow." The last part was due to the fact that he had fallen over on his side and spilt the contents of the sack all over the ground. Namely, strange-looking glassy objects and peanut-shaped ivory bits. |

"Did you find anyone resisting the rule of these technology-lovers?" Rhia asked as she allowed herself to sit down. Sit down...not too long ago, she would have been appalled at the thought of sitting down on this grimy floor. Now, it was the only thing she could safely sit on. |

~Falo~ "Really?" . . . Doesn't seem like he knows . . . He straightened himself up and with one deft movement, swept all the small objects back into the bag, swiftly tying the top back up. "I think that's for me to decide." Falo lifted his head, finally allowing Bane to get a good look at his face. A single glance at Falo's face would lead to the judgment that he was hardly more than a kid. Floppy, messy blonde hair and a constant wide-eyed expression tended to lend to that effect. But certainly, he was much stouter in heart than his appearance seemed to portray, for he didn't even flinch as he stared the archer and his bow full in the face. "Anyway. Are you protecting those two women I hear somewhere behind you? If you'd like to go about your business, I won't disturb you so long as you close the door on your way out and turn off that ghastly light." |

~Falo~ "Really? I'm afraid I do need to get towards the back, however, so if you'll excuse me . . . " Falo hefted up the sack, once more becoming the walking lump with legs. He wobbled towards Bane, not seeming to really care whether or not the archer would get angry enough to shoot at him. |

Keldia Child...You two are standing by a window... Daybreak pointed out softly. With a curse Keldia pulled Rhia away from the window, hoping they hadn't been spotted. Bane He took the arrow out of his bow, he wouldn't shoot the man. But he could, and would, knock his legs out from underneath him. He swung his bow around aiming for the mans' legs. |

~Falo~ "You're not being very polite." Again, the sack tumbled out of his hands. Unfortunately for Falo, this time, it began to roll. And roll. And roll. Oh, crap . . . And smashed straight into a workbench across the way, toppling it over and causing the edge of it to smack right into a line of bricks. *click* Ohcrapohcrapohcrapoh . . . With a terrible squealing noise, a row of shelves on the right side of the warehouse suddenly flipped over to show a row of pretty buttons, as well as a crudely lettered sign. "PASSWORD". |

~Falo~ "Umm . . . Ignore that, if you please." He made a valiant attempt to look dignified as he strode over to the brick in question to press it once more, but unfortunately, one of the glass doohickeys got in his way. And he crashed to the ground for the third time that night. "Yeah. Definitely the gitchy feeling." The shelves flipped back over once more as he pushed in the brick and set the workbench back uprigth. |

Keldia She saw the man pushing a bench back into its proper posistion. If it were any other time, she would have let the man go, but unfortantly, this wasn't a good time to let anyone go. She drew her other blade, with was about as tall as she was and pointed it at the man. "You, on the ground. I want you to be looking very closely at your belly. If you look up, you with get a crimson smile across your throat." She said. |

~Falo~ "I don't take very kindly to threats, thanks." He smiled brightly as he ignored Keldia completely and scattered around the floor picking up all the objects he had lost. This had definitely not been in the training, but he knew enough that A: He had already accidentally betrayed half of the warehouse's secrets to these people, and B: They didn't care, which meant that they were likely to be criminals, too. And besides, he knew perfectly well how to counter a magic sword. |

??? "Heh, I'll only be here for a moment." He said to the guards, they nodded, and walked away. He flipped them off, and then struck his sword against the warehouse. It let out a hideous shriek, much like a banshee wail. The shriek shattered most of the windows in the warehouse, and when the guards turned to see the noise. The man was gone. Or what they believed to be a man. Keldia She heard the shriek ripple through the warehouse. It drove her to her knee's briefly, mostly to cover her head from the shattering glass. Then she was up in an instant, Daybreak was glowing in her hand. That was a demon child It told her. Like I didn't know. She snapped at it silently. |

~Falo~ "Not before I get who you are and why somebody's interested enough in you to break all the windows." Having pushed the brick once more to flip over the shelves, Falo pressed all but one of the series of buttons. "Fair deal, though. I'm Falo and you're about to be leaving through a smuggler's underground -- " He never got to finish the sentence as shouts echoed from outside the building. " . . . Dang! No time for this!" He slammed his hand on the last button in the passcode and watched as part of the floor suddenly fell away. "Get down there!" |

Taking something from his pocket and breaking it on his knee, Falo's face was suddenly illuminated by a strange, glowing orb. "This leads to the outskirts of the capital city. I don't know exactly where since I don't exactly live here, either. Now do I get some answers?" |

~Falo~ And I'm a fairy princess. "Riiiiight. Lost travelers with a penchant for making glass go bang." Falo grinned cheekily as he increased his pace to overtake them. "The path diverges here. Normally, I'd have to blindfold you and such so you wouldn't remember what the right way was, but since you're just lost travelers and all, I suppose I could give you a break." He led them down the right hand passageway. "By the way, try to avoid stepping on the snakes. They're poisonous." |

Keldia "I don't know what kind of magic created it." She said truthfully. All she knew were legends passed down, that her ancsetor Arya was given this sword by a pair of Shades, if she recalled correctly they were called Marwyn and Ura. And from what Daybreak told her, they didn't make it, Daybreak was made at the dawn of creation, a tool to use against the Archdemon and his Regent. She purposly avoided the last two questions. |

~Falo~ Wow, you people are really bad at subtly changing the topic. "Look, unless you want me to grunt and point whenever I need to refer to one of you, you're going to have to give me some names. ???? "Where the HELL did they go?" A guard yelled. A small, robed figure sat on some stone steps, not far from the warehouse. "You. Worthless being. Did you see two girls go by here? Maybe with an archer?" The guard inquired. The robed figure didn't speak. "I am TALKING to you-" The robed figure stood sharply. "No. No. You are no longer speaking." The robed figure said, holding a small card of paper over the guard's mouth. "Force. That's all you buffoons know. Do you like force? Have force, then. I will use force." The robed figure added, quickly thrusting a palm forward at the guard; sending him flying back. The robed figure brought their hood back, revealing a girl's face; but somewhat beastly. Not in the ugly sense; but she didn't have hair. She had fur. It slowly cascaded down into her robe, and a tail swished quietly at her feet, and she cracked her knuckles. "And for your information, if you'd have asked nicely, I would have told you that they went into that warehouse without having to have damaged your insides." She added. "Don't worry. It'll only feel like you're pregnant while you're in the bathroom." She smirked, putting her hood back up. |
