The best game ever made. Definitely.
Out of all games I've ever played, definitely. The amazing world, the incredibly detailed surroundings, the insane variety of moves that Superman can learn.

Storyline: 10/10

This game has my favorite storyline, ever. Basically, Lex Luthor has created a virtual world. In it, a couple of your friends are captured. But there is more to it. There is something deep... Something that you feel is wrong about this story... Something that is uncanny about it... I think it's the incredibly thoughtfulness put down in the magical environment, and the idea behind the game. You can feel what the developers thought while creating this game. You can feel the magic in the air... It's almost as if this game speaks to you. The storyline is surprisingly original, it isn't even remotely cliche. I have probably never played a game with a story this deep, and I probably never will.

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics are probably the best part of the game. Superman is incredibly detailed, and his moves feel solid, yet they feel soft. The detailed sky and the incredibly beautiful explosions... The buildings, the vehicles... This game probably has the best graphics ever. You can't imagine that the massive amount of details fits inside the Nintendo 64. The special effects are incredible. Superman's Ice Breath, his Laser Sight, his super speed... They all look amazingly realistic. Even though there are plenty of new machines and PC games with more powerfull graphic cards, no game has ever surpassed this one in graphics.

Music: 10/10

Oh my. The sound is so incredible. Just by thinking about how great this game is, I can hear the undying tones of the game's awesome songs. When you walk in the silent surroundings, and suddenly, an incredibly deep and amazing tone starts playing... I could listen to a single song from this game for days and days. Likely the best music. Ever. The amazing variety of tunes is surprising, and the sound effects sound so... Real. So genuine. So... Wow.

Gameplay: 10/10

Wow. Just, Wow. So great. So varying. So hard. So mighty. So amazing. So incredible. So unbelievable. So... undying.
Superman's solid, mighty, stone-like punches... His burning, hot, fiery laser vision... His cold, freezing, chilling Ice Breat... His swift, unbeatable, piercing Super Speed... The ease of controlling Superman flying in the air, picking up a car... Throwing the car... And flying through rings. The rings are probably the best part of the game. It almost feels like the rings have some kind of message... The message of the rings... The message of Superman 64.

Some of the enemies are incredibly tough. Superman has to squeeze every bit of his power to defeat them. It is an amazing feeling, landing a punch right in the enemy's face, and see them fly off... And rise again, forcing you to continue the fight, no matter how tired and exhausted you are. You have to fulfill different goals in each of the varying, amazing, fun missions. Just watching the game is enough to feel how... Majestic it is. I could walk around in the beautiful surroundings for hours, even days.

Replay Value: 10/10

When you play an adventure this great, what do you want to do? Exactly, play it again. And again. And again. And again. Every play-through feels like a new game, you discover new, amazing details every time. I've played this game almost one hundred times, and I still discover plenty of new things in every playthrough. Every time, you will be touched by the depth of this game and it's story.

Final Score: 10/10

It surprises me that there's so much hate around this incredible game. It was obvious that I would give it a 10/10 after the very first stage I played.

Play it. Now.
