since there are so many children in need you'd think they'd be able to film enough clips of needy children so they dont have to repeat the same clips

To be honest I think its wrong that they should ask the public to make donations, they should just be targetting people who have won the lottery or the overpaid footballers.etc. Things are hard enough for us oridinary people at the moment and most of us need every penny we get just to keep a roof over our heads and food in our cupboards.

the whole thing is wrong, we shouldnt need to raise money to help these kids, in our own country. they ought to be looked after properly by the government. but that is the way it seems to be.
saying that, I always enjoy the night's entertainment that they put on. and the money from Strictly Come Dancing votes goes towards CIN.

Parents also have to take responsibilty for looking after their children too!!!!! Thats part of the problem with todays England, people don't take responsibility, it's always someone elses fault!!!

Congrats on yer 1K posts, Pat luv!
I wish it could have been about summat happier!

However, I feel it is a symptom of our current society that caused that poor babys horror.
A degeneration of society in general?
Hollywood neutralisation of pain and death - and tabloid oversensationalism?
Everything is so effin plastic and throw away these days. Even that poor lads tragic life, it seems...

As a parent and kindergarden worker, my shock and horror at that story has made even this gentle soul feel able to commit serious acts of violence against those who did that to him.
Which I would also inflict on the social care wankers who were supposed to be looking out for his well being.
My life is mainly looking after and protecting kids on a day to day basis...those sadistic assholes and negligent social worker fuckers just defy belief and I hope they will suffer the pain that that poor baby did.

I need to cry.

Thanks!

I know what you are saying, I deal with child protection issues on a regular basis at work. I don't know how these people can do such horrible things to such an innocent child.

I wasn't meaning these sort of things in my reply it was more to do with parents not controlling their teenagers and then blaming authorities/goverment for thier failings. They just want to pass the book on their responsibilities.

I was once at work and a teenager swore at her mother, I said we don't have language like that in here. To which the mother replied "she always does it!" I replied well don't let her cos if she was my daughter she certainly would not be using language like that to me!!!"
