Last night was the final Between the lines concert! Here is the line up, ranking, and and a personal review of each song. Can't Stop by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers Max DeFrancesco, Max Feinstein, Eric Messihi and Dan Schwartz. Review: Great opening for the concert. It got the crowd alive and cheering with some really good musicians playing. I give it a 9 out of 10 Mr. Blue Sky by ELO Kelly Eng, Eric Messihi, Michael Schwab, Dan Schwartz, and Yale Spector. Review: This song had a very catchy feel to it. All the instruments went particularly well together. Yale actually made the Cello into a good instrument. 8 out of 10. Oedipus(edipus) Rex by Jake Sachs Gabe Campregher, Jake Sachs, Matias Iglesias and Max Feinstein. Review: A rather slow song, yet still a rock song. It was stated before the song was played that the song was made for Jake's english progect, inwhich you had to tell the Greek Horor story of Oedipus Rex in your own way. Jake wrote a song, and it was good. So they played it for the concert. I have to give this song a ten instead of nine because it is the only song made by the people(person) who play it. 10 out of 10. Tommy the Cat by Primus. Justin Cornell, Max Feinstein, Eric Messihi and Dan Schwartz. Review: Justin(being a very comedic guy who always makes me laugh) sang EXTREMLEY FAST! But, you couldn't really here him. The Amp volumes of the other instruments were to high. However, when others were playing, Justing was dancing around like an idiot, or eating an apple, or playing an air guitar. Meanwhile there were AMAZING like 5 minute solos by Dan Schwartz on drums, and Eric Messihi on base. I give this a 9 out of ten instead of 10 out of 10 because you couldn't here Justin that much. I will post another reply with the rest (i don't want to run out of characters) |

I Will Follow You into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. Rebeca Arango and Zoe Mann Review: A soft song that gave my Mom a break from the Rock, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, and Acid Metal. It was soft and sweet with good harmony. It gave people a time to just relax. 8 out of 10. How Come You Don't Call Me by Alicia Keys Flora Ekpe-Idang, Kelly Eng, and Dan Schwartz. Review: The one song that sticks out. It was a Soulfull song, and a good one at that. Not exactly what i expected, but it was very good. I give it an 8. IOU by Metric Rebeca Arango, Alex Eng, Eric Messihi, and Jake Wolk. Rebecca Arango was good at Singing and playing the Guitar at the same time. The other instruments kept up very well to make a neat fast rock song. 9 out of 10. Super Mario Brothers Theme Song by Nintendo Max Feinstein, Eric Messihi, Mike Schwab, and Dan Schwartz Review OH MY FRICKIN GOD YES! YES! AW MAN! LEAVE IT TO HIGH SCHOOLERS TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS! A rock version of the theme song along with every classic Mario song. During the song, Jake Sachs, Max Feinstein, and Yale Spector, would work together to have Question mark blocks for mario to his with coins, super/poison mushrooms, and in the swimming music, swimming! Great acting, great playing, great crowd, great song, great rating. 10 out of 10. The Terminal Song by Mischief Brew Michael Schwab Review: Really great song with good meaning. I apologize that The Terminal Song isn't the real name, but i forget what he said the real name was. Michael played the guitar very well, and sang pretty well. He played accustic very beutifully, but the singing could have been better. 8 out of 10. Intermission Intermission was packed with free food, which makes me very happy :). While discussing Intermission, I'm going to say some things about the concert, and this board. Members who Attended: Jounin Elite, Keimatsu, and Your Truly, Hermit of Hell. Members who Played: Keimatsu. Im taking a break for this, it's not exactly easy doing this! More to you later. P.S. Post here, or pm me if you were at the concert and i didn't know. |

Lo, the Super Mario Bros. was the best XD. Meh, I don't like the violin family of instruments that much either, but Yale was good. -JE- |
