This thread contains the outlines and early drafts of a story I had been intending to make based on the "Koopa von Troop" RPG stories. I eventually came to decide on the current draft in this post as representative of the 'official' version of the story and what I intended to stick with for the telling of the story.

While this post contains the "official" story I eventually came to decide on, the replies to this thread contain various other drafts I had created and abandoned.

The very last reply will give a summary of my intentions for the official story as posted here in the original post.

And so, here it is:

Boswer
Ivan
Yoshio
Theta
Mia
Elizabeth
Jaytrex

Episode 1.01: Doors of Opportunity: Establishes general character traits
On February 2nd, 2006, Prince Boswer of the Koopa von Troop (KvT) and his advisor, Ivan, prepare for the arrival of guests at Castle von Koopa: three bounty hunters hired to find a key that leads into the mysterious Doors of Opportunity. Before they arrive, Boswer receives a letter signed from Death that one of the bounty hunters has malicious intentions toward him. The three hunters are the detached inventor, Yoshio Raptordarkness; the dark warrior, Black Bones; and the shape-shifting Duplighost, Mr. X. Boswer informs the three of the key’s location, in the icy peaks of Yoshi’s Island.

Due to Yoshio’s silent contrast from the other hunters (including not saying his name), Boswer becomes suspicious of him, and secretly offers more pay to Mr. X to spy on the group, and to Black Bones to kill Yoshio should things get out of hand. The three hunters scale the mountains of Yoshi’s Island, while Boswer and Ivan prepare for the coming of the harsh King Bowser, who plans to visit the KvT and evaluate it in a number of hours. The three hunters locate the key deep in a frozen chamber, but frozen waters starts to break while obtaining it; Black Bones and Yoshio battle over whether to escape or to collect the key, and Black Bones becomes trapped and frozen in the icy waters.

Inscriptions on the cave walls incite Yoshio to learn more about the nature of the Doors of Opportunity, and he questions Boswer’s intentions when he returns. Boswer hotly storms off to his airship, but Yoshio manages to force an answer out of Ivan before he leaves as well: the Doors of Opportunity hold a dangerous amulet which could be used for world domination. Yoshio sneaks aboard the airship as it takes off. At the islet where the Doors of Opportunity reside, Yoshio overpowers Ivan in a skirmish before the three see what is beyond the doors: a rotted mushroom, which Yoshio suspects to have withered from whatever “world dominating” power it may have once had.

Boswer is upset by the revelation, and is further embittered to learn that King Bowser has arrived at the castle early. While Boswer gets a scolding, the true villain of the hunters is revealed to be Mr. X, as he attacks the group with a stream of ghostly figures created with his own powers. As Mr. X makes a mess off the place, Yoshio convinces Ivan and Boswer to hold their ground, and aids in the Koopa forces in diminishing Mr. X’s energy forms; however, the actual shape-shifter himself escapes. King Bowser is disheartened by the KvT’s failure to have strong design, but praises the swift response to Mr. X’s surprise attack, before leaving. Mr. X meets up with a mysterious figure who hired him to spy on and test the KvT’s combat skills, Sneaky. Back at the caste, Boswer, impressed with his work, offers Yoshio a position as Boswer’s general, to which he accepts; he also reveals his name to the group. As the three observe the mess Mr. X left, a mysterious black Yoshi is shown watching them from a distance.

Episode 1.02: Ivan faces conflict between his instincts as peacemaker and current job as evil-doer
On February 9th, Boswer plans an attack to capture a small village in the Mushroom Kingdom as a sign of power, a plan which a seemingly unaffected Ivan is agreed to. Meanwhile, Yoshio has begun to move his things into the castle.

The capture of the village is a success, but Ivan is unable to bring himself to hold a poor family, so he secretly lets them go; however, he eventually gives in and tells Boswer what he did. Boswer makes him go fetch the family back before they can inform the authorities. Meanwhile, Yoshio begins to inspect the castle’s walls and blueprints.

Ivan desperately searches for the group with Yoshio and a team of Koopas in a wooded area, but to no avail. Ivan tells Yoshio that he used to be a bodyguard, a peacemaker trained to help people, and that his letting the family go was just something instinctive. Just as Ivan is about to give up, a spying Mr. X leaks the location of the family to Ivan, and he manages to locate them. Ivan sends the KvT force to look elsewhere while he secretly speaks with the family. The family asserts that they don’t intend to tell the authorities, and that they just want to live in peace.

Upon returning to CvK, Boswer once again makes Ivan break out the truth. Boswer asks why Ivan has disobeyed him, Ivan tells him that he doesn’t think they have to be captured, but an enraged Boswer tells reminds him that he must hurt whoever he tells him to hurt. Boswer asks Ivan why he joined the KvT, and Ivan reveals that he disliked the overly “peaceful” ways in which he was taught. Boswer barks at him to prove it. Later, Yoshio gets permission from Boswer to begin construction on a laboratory in the castle. Meanwhile, Ivan, realizing his true feelings on the matter, returns to the family on his own, and binds them, carrying each back to the captured village. Mr. X continues to spy on Ivan, and writes something down on a notepad.

Episode 1.03: Boswer must learn to behave like a leader instead of a child
On February 16th, Boswer has Ivan prepare the castle for inspection from the Magikoopa named Obsevius, an inspector who works for King Bowser and ensures that the various subsections of his hierarchy are in good working order. Boswer tells Ivan and Yoshio that the he needs the KvT to gain approval in order to decrease the KvT’s chances of being disbanded under King Bowser’s order. Yoshio is in the midst of constructing his laboratory.

A Magikoopa appearing to be Obsevius arrives and inspects the castle; Ivan’s excellent work in cleaning it up helps to gain it a pass. However, Obsevius expresses concern with what he perceives as the sloppy handling of the KvT’s work, particularly with the insecure and incompetent overtaking of Mushroom villages. He also encourages Boswer to find a mate if he ever wants to take command of the Koopa Empire. Obsevius promises to return the next day for further evaluation on them. When he leaves, it is revealed that Obsevius is actually Mr. X - he has killed the real Obsevius and shape shifted into his form. Ivan tries to arrange a date with Tory, Princess of High Sky for Boswer, but he doesn’t want to bother. That night, Mr. X infiltrates one of the KvT’s captured villages, impersonating one of the officers there, and starts to use his influence to wreak havoc in the village.

The next day (February 17th), Boswer entrusts Yoshio to decide how to handle the Mushroom village’s security breach. Yoshio, annoyed by this interruption in his schedule of working on his laboratory, begins to work on formulating a plan. Mr. X “Obsevius” arrives and chastises Boswer for allowing such a catastrophe in his operations. Boswer asserts that the KvT’s village capture operations will soon be in good working order. While Yoshio is working on handling the Mushroom village’s security, he notices security issues consistent with all of the captured villages. Yoshio reports this to Boswer, who once again orders him to deal with it. “Obsevius” privately tells Yoshio and Ivan that Boswer’s records are not looking good compared to his sibling’s.

Yoshio tells Boswer of what “Obsevius” told him, and asks why he founded the KvT. Boswer states that he found the mindlessly brute-like nature of the other Koopa sub-forces to be incompetent, and desired to make a better one that would be smart, and stand out as an example for the Koopa Empire. Yoshio inquires as to why Boswer has left all of the work to him instead forming a plan himself, keeping the KvT “smart”, and Boswer states that he, along with his other siblings, were often spoiled, that he is not used to doing a lot of work. Boswer then states that he realizes that such laziness will get the KvT into disbandment; so he finally decides to handle the Mushroom village crises.

Later, the KvT forces are shown to be leaving the Mushroom villages, resigning power back to their respective mayors. Boswer states that letting the Mushroom villages go was the best solution. He has Ivan search for Obsevius, while he agrees to and goes on a date with Tory. Ivan and a team of Koopas soon discover the real Obsevius’s body, with a letter signed with Obsevius’s well-known catchphrase: “Stay stalwart - Mr. X”. Yoshio finishes constructing the laboratory room.

Episode 1.04: Yoshio is conflicted between his affinity for science and his position as general
On February 23rd, Yoshio’s time in his laboratory begins to interfere with his work as KvT general - among his creations is a robot, Theta, though incomplete. Boswer prepares an attack against another land. After the airship takes off, it is discovered to be sabotaged and on course to outer space, where the passengers will surely die. With no parachutes or other means of escape, the force is trapped on the airship. Unusual life forms are discovered to have infested the workings of the airship, eating away at the wood making it. Yoshio discovers them susceptible to electricity, and so Ivan creates a storm in order to harm them, though they ultimately do significant damage to the ship and start to adapt to electric shocks. As Yoshio becomes obsessed with finding a means to destroy them. Yoshio soon realizes they will die without oxygen, so he rushes to get the crew equipped for brief space flight. Yoshio then flies the airship back down to the world. The airship is docked at Castle von Koopa for repairs.

Not sure what this list means or why Boswer is listed as "Adept Leader", I don't even really remember writing this! It might have been a possible turn of events I had had in mind, something unexpected and surprising such as Boswer somehow becoming leader of the Weyard adepts. I have no idea. I can't remember!

CHARACTER STUFF

Boswer: Leader of the Koopa von Troopa by blood right. A bright, if not immature little bulb. One of the smarter, more open-minded members of the Koopa family. He is willing to acknowledge his flaws and ask for help when needed. His efforts to conquer the various lands are mainly due to pressure of family tradition and seeking approval from his father, with whom he has a cold relationship with.

Ivan: Boswer’s chosen Advisor. A bit naďve and insecure, but is more kind and caring for others than other Koopa von Troopa members. He has some understanding of the mind, as he is more empathic and able to comprehend others’ feelings, even when they cannot, and is good at spotting deception. This is why he was chosen as the Advisor. Ivan initially joined Boswer’s forces for the pay, but gained more respect and dedication to Boswer’s cause as he remained with him.

Yoshio: Boswer’s General. He is quite intelligent, but also quite antisocial and isolated. He became obsessed with making various inventions during his pre-Koopa von Troopa isolation. He is shown to be very wise and possibly more experienced to lead Boswer’s forces than he himself is, which is why Boswer offered Yoshio the opportunity to join. Yoshio joins in order to improve his lifestyle and is intrigued by the plots conjured in Boswer’s tyranny.

Mia: Ivan’s acting Advisor. She is a rather cruel and abusive individual, but also intelligent and certainly a helpful asset in whoever’s side she is on. Ivan chooses her as his Advisor as he already personally knows her and feels that she can do the things he feels incapable of doing while in command. She joins the Koopa von Troopa in order to help Ivan and exercise her aggressive tendencies.

Elizabeth: Ivan’s acting General. Elizabeth is intelligent, and has inherited some apparently magical powers, all of which aid her in stepping into Yoshio’s shoes as General. She is kind to others, but also very skeptical, pessimistic, and in general, cynical in regards towards people in general, and convinces herself that joining the Koopa von Troopa and conquering kingdoms could lead to enlightenment.

Theta: Yoshio’s Adjutant. He, being a robot, is rather smart, and he can perform multiple tasks without much quarrel. When Yoshio dies, Theta essentially becomes the brains of the Koopa von Troopa. In his newfound role, he attempts to understand the human mind in order to improve his abilities as a more prominent member of the group.

Jaytrex: Intelligent and skilled in infiltration, stealth, and general sneakiness. He is self-centered, very uncaring in regards to other life, and is definitely interested in gaining more power. He is sadistic, and most importantly, pure evil.

A few more details on the "official" version from the original post:

I think I laid out the descriptions for the character developments well enough, but I realized more clarification on the actual plot would be helpful.

One more thing, the reply before this one I believe actually contains a revamp from after the version of the story from the original post, but I had never fleshed it out enough to consider it as the 'official' version replacing the version in the original post. As it stands, the original post version is still the official version. I did have concerns that some characters such as Ivan and Elizabeth were underdeveloped a bit earlier in the story and didn't have enough distinguishing original features from the other cast members. I also was considering trying to put all 6 of the main characters as being main characters straight from the first episode. However, I never put together this sort of revamp, and so it stands that the only three 'main' ones in the beginning are Boswer, Ivan, and Yoshio, and the other 3 are recurring guests until halfway through the series. Ivan and Elizabeth's characters probably need more work still as well.

Season 1 was mainly meant to revolve around the trio of Boswer, Ivan, and Yoshio, with only minimal, "recurring guest" appearances from other characters such as Mia, Elizabeth, and Theta.

The villain of Season 1 was going to be Mr. X, the Duplighost, also one of the RPers who joined us in the first RPG on the Doors of Doom story from which Episode 1 is based. The idea is that Mr. X was ultimately working for Darkness's group, interacting with the member named Sneaky. Mr. X would eventually be killed in the Season 1 finale which would see Mr. X setting up a sort of puzzle-challenge-trial thing in which each of the three of the trio would be separated and would have to make decisions and face challenges to their own characters (as persons, on the emotional level) and the consequences of their actions could affect one another in each of their individual trials unbeknownst to each other.

A lot of the conflicts in the episodes of Season 1 would ultimately be attributed back to Mr. X instigating them in some way, even if that wasn't always apparent to the protagonists. And of course, Mr. X is instigating them in working for Darkness's group, who are trying to test or change the natures of the three main characters through the conflicts they have Mr. X set up.

Ivan would face conflict with his fellow adepts who were serving in the security of the Mushroom Kingdom, especially Mia, who would not have joined the KvT at this point. Ivan has mental powers, powers over the mind. He is very strong-willed and strong-minded himself. He elects not to interfere with other peoples' minds, fearing it is immoral.

Boswer also faced issues with his father and a bit of rivalrly with his siblings, especially Ludwig, the eldest, and the one most determined to take up the throne, however King Bowser would favor Boswer a bit more. Boswer would have been revealed to have cheated Bowser's system in some way in his attempt to become Prince of his own castle, and dark sort of cheat that could lead to severe punishment, loss of his rulership, and ultimately lead to him being shunned by the rest of the group. I never determined what exactly it was he would do that was so bad, however.

I did intend that Sneaky (who worked for Darkness) would be revealed to have been integral in helping Boswer perform this cheating of the system in some way, and that he would have "touched" Boswer, setting a mark on Boswer for future plans of Darkness.

Sneaky also helps Boswer to decide on the location of his new castle, Castle von Koopa, at Magma Island, for there is something unique about this place, a place which he says will grant Boswer further wisdom.

In the middle of the story, a storyline would have revolved around Yoshio traveling back through time and attempting to erase his accidental murder of a friend from his college years, and this would involve dramatically exploding the building. Boswer and Ivan would attempt to stop him, but fail, as the chapter concludes with a bright flash of light as Yoshio moves the wires together to trigger the explosion, ending the episode on a cliffhanger. The episode would also feature several instances of a mysterious voice warning Yoshio not to go through with the plan (would be revealed to be Doshi in the next episode).

The next episode, one of the few I had thought of a title for, "Through the Looking Glass", would involve Yoshio awakening in an alternate timeline where he never murdered his friend and went on the run from the authorities, ultimately becoming a big shot scientist and never meeting the KvT. However, Yoshio starts to see things which remind him of brief fragments of memories from the original timeline (for example, he wakes up only remembering a dream about an explosion, and when he moves his utensils together to eat, he gets a flash of moving the two wires together, etc.) Yoshio has no clear memory of the original timeline, however.

The same applies to Boswer and Ivan, who are now under the brutal influence of Mr. X who succeeded in his attack in the first chapter and killed King Bowser, allowing him to also slowly begin to take control of the entire Koopa Empire, with his main base being at Castle von Koopa (Boswer's castle). Boswer would be a prisoner under him subjected to abuse, and Ivan would struggle to rally scattered and disheartened KvT troops to lead an attack to retake the castle.

Later on in the story, Yoshio's cockiness and arrogance of his scientific knowledge would cause him to lose a major bet with a rival scientist, causing him to lose all of his possessions (save for clothes!), even Theta. A ruined Yoshio's only friend would be the Koopa he was friends with in college, as well as the friend's wife, the two of whom would offer aid to Yoshio. However, as Yoshio leaves with the friend, a sudden car accident causes the friend's death anyway.

At this point, this terrible emotional experience and his friend's wife's mourning suddenly triggers back all of Yoshio's memories of the original timeline. Suddenly realizing that Boswer and Ivan are in danger of Mr. X without his involvement in the first episode, Yoshio travels to Castle von Koopa and aids Ivan and Boswer in a large battle, although they don't know him.

The three become surrounded in the midst of battle, when everything is suddenly frozen except for Yoshio. Yoshio looks around the frozen scene in confusion until Doshi emerges and introduces himself. Doshi explains that, given the rules of time in this fanfic series, Yoshio would have been ultimately unable to trigger the bomb in some way or another no matter what he attempted - he states that rather he may have just triggered only enough of an explosion that would kill himself and Boswer and Ivan and ultimately not change the course of events.

Doshi explains that the alternate timeline Yoshio sees is not quite an alternate timeline, but something much different, but something Yoshio is not ready to understand. Doshi says he brought Yoshio here to show him that no matter what he does, he cannot change what has been set in the past in the real timeline (his friend's death and his loss of everything, both of which ultimately came to be in this new timeline). Doshi explains that he brought Yoshio to this mysterious world that appears as an alternate timeline to instead help show Yoshio that his new destiny and "family" ultimately is with Boswer, Ivan, and the KvT as a whole.

Doshi explains that he took him out of the real timeline just before he put the wires together, and the flash of white he saw was simply part of the experience of his moving between the two worlds, and not the explosion of the bombs he set up.

Doshi then causes Yoshio to reappear back in the college, holding the two wires very close together. Yoshio ultimately deactivates the explosives and returns with Boswer and Ivan, albeit facing much punishment from Boswer for what he attempted.

The episode would conclude possibly with Yoshio finishing construction on Theta (had I chosen not to introduce him yet at this point, which would make Theta's appearance in the "alternate timeline" his introductory point from the readers' point of view).

The "Yoshio duels with a bounty hunter seeking to bring him to justice" refers to Elizabeth, who has been hired to capture Yoshio due to his crime of murdering his friend accidentally. Yoshio and Elizabeth are initially introduced as enemies here, but by the end of the episode, in some way or another, are not-so-much enemies, perhaps the two are placed in a situation where they have to help each other towards the end of the episode. Eventually, by the beginning of Season 2, they have become better friends, and Yoshio elects not to kill Elizabeth on Boswer's orders as such (from the Season 2 Episode 2 plotline, "Yoshio is ordered not to kill Elizabeth")

Boswer faces inquisition from a Koopa who fights corruption is possibly an introductory point for Blueka, who might be some sort of lawyer-type figure in the Koopa Empire who has reason to suspect Boswer's cheating the system (no doubt, by information deliberately leaked from Darkness's group for the very purpose of testing Boswer in this situation). Boswer would do something to gain Blueka's respect or assurance that Boswer obeyed the Koopas' laws or otherwise impress him that Boswer is 'good' in some way. Somewhere down the line in the series, Blueka would join the KvT as one of its troops, abandoning the "law" aspect from which he was first introduced.

In Season 2, I want to see our characters begin to change from who they are in Season 1. Boswer starts contemplating more moral or righteous aspects of his character which he previously chose to ignore, Yoshio's relationship with Elizabeth grows and the two become married towards the end of the season, and Ivan starts to become more comfortable and confident in aggressive and leading roles, setting him up for his characterization to come in Seasons 3 and 4, and his mental powers increase.

From the first episode of Season 2, it would be established that King Bowser has grown ill, and it would get progressively worse for the first six episodes, until the beginning of Episode 6, when King Bowser would finally be on his deathbed. He would ultimately pick Boswer to be his successor to rule the Koopa Empire, but Boswer would finally admit his corrupt nature and cheating against Bowser's own laws. King Bowser would look a bit distressed and die moments later, leaving Boswer to forever wonder if revealing that to his father caused his death (you know, causing his heart to race to fast or his blood pressure or whatnot from this terribly shocking revelation).

Boswer, perhaps out of guilt, or perhaps just not wanting the power anymore, gives up his new title as King and gives it to Ludwig instead.

By episode 9, Darkness's group would now put Boswer in a situation where his secret would be on the risk of being exposed due to a flaw in the cover-up. Boswer would be left with a stark choice as to do some immoral things to keep it further covered up. However, in a change of heart, Boswer finally comes public with the truth, and he is disowned by the rest of the Koopa Empire, but Boswer decides to remain in charge of the KvT at his castle and his own troops remain loyal to him.

In Episode 11, the KvT would finally discover a way to successfully secure control of Princess' Peach's Castle and keep her captured, thusly allowing the KvT to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Boswer orders the plan into effect and it succeeds. However, after days of being in charge at the castle, Boswer becomes conflicted that this is what he really wants to do.

Boswer meets Doshi, who appears to him. Doshi would chat with Boswer for a bit about Boswer's conflict. Doshi would start to "touch" Boswer, but hold back by something he realizes about him (which would not be revealed to the readers for a long time in the series). After Doshi disappears, Boswer would finally decide to abandon the Mushroom Kingdom and relinquish control to Peach, and the KvT would return to Castle von Koopa.

In the next episode, the Yoshio-Elizabeth wedding episode, a bit more of a lighthearted one than KvT episodes usually are, everyone struggles to help this wedding go just right, and BlackBones crashes in on the parade and causes a ruckus, further complicating matters. This episode, although the plot involves Yoshio and Elizabeth's wedding, it would give a fair amount of focus on all of the main characters and not necessarily be a strictly Yoshio-centric episode.

In this episode, Doshi would also reappear again, but not to meet Yoshio. Rather to meet Ivan. Ivan's joy for his two friends getting married would be something Doshi wants Ivan to remember as he tells him, although Ivan would be confused as to Doshi's point. Ivan would realize Doshi is the one who visited both Yoshio and Boswer previously (as the two recounted to Ivan at some point following their encounters with him), but Doshi does not give many answers on why he has visited now the three of them. Doshi, however, does "touch" Ivan.

Each time Doshi appears in this story is usually only for one scene or two in the episodes in which he appears, but he often discusses things that will foreshadow or set up certain decisions these characters will need to make later on in the story, and he visits each of these characters at integral points in their development. We would learn a little bit about Doshi's own character with each visit as he would divulge gradually. The full purpose of the Doshi meetings would not be understood until the final episode of the series.

Boswer gives up leadership of the KvT to Ivan in the 2nd-to-last episode of Season 2, and simply stays within the KvT in more of an advisory role to help Ivan with his newfound leadership rather than ruling things himself.

The plot of Season 2 mainly revolves around BlackBones' antics. In the Season 2 first episode, Darkness's forces would release BlackBones from the ice from which he was trapped from Season 1 Episode 1, and BlackBones would join their forces.

Darkness's group is only seen very minimally, usually just in encounters with their new subordinates such as Mr. X or BlackBones.

At the end of Season 1, we are introduced to Doc as Sneaky meets him, and at the end of Season 2, we are introduced to Badd as well.

BlackBones would cause a lot of strife in the majority of the episodes of Season 2 in some way or another, just as Mr. X instigated a lot of conflict in Season 1.

BlackBones is a black Dry Bones, if I haven't clarified already. BlackBones was also a part of the initial Doors of Doom mission, as taken from the BlackBones RPer from the original chatroom game in question.

In the Season 2 finale, an armada of airships, both Mushroom and Koopa allying for this one occasion, head for an island where BlackBones is, through both a bit of technology as well as magic, has constructed a device which will create a dark, powerful energy which would destroy much of civilization on the planet.

In this episode, we would be introduced to Badd's dark airship and the many little dark creature troops which serve Darkness. They are mindless, vicious, charged by dark magic, and only obey Darkness or those whom Darkness has placed in charge of them, such as Badd.

A big battle ensues.

Towards the end, after BlackBones is killed and Sneaky, Doc, and Badd have abandoned the premise, the device is still active and seemingly unstoppable. Yoshio realizes he will have to sacrifice himself by going near it to deactivate it. Its powerful energy begins to quickly kill him, but Yoshio manages to deactivate the device, and he dies. Much to the devastation of his wife Elizabeth, who also joined in the battle, but had not yet gotten the chance to tell Yoshio the news that she was carrying two fertilized eggs within her (in other words, pregnant!)

The final scene of Season 2 is of Yoshio's grave and tombstone.

The end of Season 2 represents a major change in the dynamic of the series. Certain characters with leave and certain characters will join.

A few further notes on recurring characters from the first two seasons:

Characters such as Mia, Elizabeth, and Theta should be given much character development for episodes they do appear in so as to set them up as major characters in the long run. They should appear in both season finales and partake in the battle in the Season 2 finale. Give Mia and the adepts a lot of focus and development in Ivan-centric episodes, Elizabeth and Theta in Yoshio-centric episodes, and the Koopa Empire and Tory in Boswer-centric episodes.

In order to darken this story, the more comical and lighthearted trio of Saber, Sonny, and Willow never come to be in this story. Saber appears in a reduced capacity and more seriously, sometimes as a helper to Mia, mainly in later episodes, and he is presented as much more serious than in the chatroom RPG's but his appearances are minimal. Blueka's storyline is also toned down greatly, his death and "Magiblue" magikoopa personality have been removed in this fic series, and he only works as a lesser member in the KvT and appears minimally. Not a whole lot of focus on Boswer's siblings except for Ludwig who represents the sibling rivalry mainly. Preferably tone down the references to other new Koopa Kids such as Waver, possibly removing any mention of them all together.

Now getting into the details of Season 3. Yoshio's death wains heavily on everyone's minds, Mia and Elizabeth decide to join the KvT, and Theta is given a higher-ranking and more important role. Ivan continues to run the KvT as its leader now, as given to him by Boswer, who now mostly keeps to himself and ponders changing his life.

A mysterious group whom I had never determined a name for (in my mind I called them the "Light Group") is formally introduced in the first episode of Season 3, though they may have been mentioned or made more subtle appearances in earlier seasons.

An old man, a member of the Light Group, meets with Boswer and tells him that he's watched him for a long time, and that his group has watched many people who have the right heart or mind or spirit to do higher goods. He offers Boswer to join the Light Group. Boswer initially declines, but towards the end of the episode, Boswer finally agrees and journeys with the old man into a light portal which he creates. The two enter into it, and it disappears thereafter.

The Light Group and what happened to Boswer is entirely unknown to the KvT. Search parties are formed to find out what became of him, but Ivan is ultimately never able to locate him in the episodes to come. It is an enigma, a mystery, Boswer's disappearance. He is regarded as missing. But we will learn what became of him eventually.

Darkness's group would start to appear more prominently in this story. Rather than hiring subordinates, the three of Sneaky, Doc, and Badd would act more directly in the events of Season 3, and we would meet the 2nd in command of Darkness, the black-robed Magikoopa Eleakam.

If I haven't established already, the species of the members are:

Doc: Goomba
Badd: A Koopa, of the same type as a Hammer Bro
Sneaky: A mysterious, dark, almost silhouette-like figure with white dot eyes.
Eleakam: Magikoopa

Doc, Badd, and Eleakam's eyes are all a bit reversed in their color, with the pupils being white and the eyeballs being black. This is a key feature of Darkness's followers.

In Season 3, Ivan becomes more aggressive in his leading role, much different from the shy and seemingly un-confident boy we knew in Season 1, much more adult-like at this point and doing a surprisingly excellent job as leader in spite of his lack of experience, he just seems to have a natural talent to lead. He now uses his influence over the mind more frequently now, giving up his prior commitment not to, but tries not to take it too far. As we discover, his potential to influence the mind is much greater than he uses, and perhaps much more than he even realizes at this point.

Mia, abandoning the good ways of the adepts protecting the Mushroom Kingdom, starts to turn towards a more violent, brutal, and sadistic side of her nature and at times loses control.

Elizabeth also begins to tap into dark energies for her magical powers which have a darkening effect on her own nature the more she uses them. She is also carrying eggs (pregnant) for this season, which she has difficulty balancing with her more action-oriented lifestyle which she had as a bounty hunter.

Theta installs an emotion chip to better understand the feeling of more 'human' persons, which brings him a new sense of humanity and emotional struggle of his own.

By episode 10, the four characters are shocked when Boswer suddenly reappears near the castle, dazed and barely conscious. Boswer also has a strange effect on his eyes, with black eyeballs and white pupils.

As they try to help Boswer recover who is a bit amnesiac as well, Mia becomes suspicious of his intentions and whether he has turned on them, and attempts to torture him for information. However, she finally breaks down, upset at the sadistic person she has let herself become. Doshi appears to her and visits her and "touches" her. Doshi also gives her a scroll containing Boswer's experience of what happened to him, which he states was lost when Boswer tried to return to them. Doshi then disappears. Before he leaves, he gives Boswer a look and makes vague statements towards him, and Boswer looks at him with a bit of concern and antagonism. We don't quite understand what this is all about yet.

Episode 11 tells the story of what happened to Boswer. He has now recovered, and using the scroll Doshi recovered, helps to retell what happens. Boswer narrates, reading the scroll, as we see in the episode more directly what transpired when Boswer left.

Boswer joined the Light Group and began to learn their ways. They lived in another universe, where there base was set, and they combined technology with light magic. They were made up of various races from various universes. Their purpose was to combat the forces of Darkness, a growing threat in the multiverse. Boswer would be trained to become one of them, and even dress like them, in the brown robes and hood. He would also join in combating some of Darkness's forces through the multiverse. Boswer began to change in his very nature, becoming a righteous, honest fighter of the cause and intent on purpose, much different from the Boswer we knew at the beginning of the story.

Among the Light Group's advanced technology was a large, cylinder cell with bright energy flowing within it and a computer. The cell was said to transport items and objects to other worlds, and the computer could determine where to send them. However, it was said to be a dangerous method of traveling for life forms, for the bright energy within the cell needed for transport was only known to kill living matter and could not even transport their then-dead bodies through.

The Light Group was able to identify the names of the leading followers of Darkness, including Eleakam, Doc, Badd, and Sneaky. However, there was another one whom they were never able to identify. They learned of a "Jaytrex" who served under Darkness and had a crucial task to fulfill, with regard to the Koopa von Troop especially, however, they never determined the appearance of Jaytrex or what the task was.

Darkness's forces swarmed the multiverse, conquering universes. Darkness himself has never been met, and some have wondered if he is an actual person or simply a conceptual character to obey or a metaphor for evil. It is said that Darkness absorbs the dark magic throughout the multiverse, creating a massive amount of dark power for himself, which he distributes as he conquers universes. Many forces have fallen to Darkness, for Darkness's incredible power and ability to see the many timelines and dimensions from which he absorbs dark power from allows him to see futures and takes this to his advantage, allowing his forces to easily conquer universes and corrupt them with dark energy, possessing many beings with darkness, especially with the dark creatures which serve as "troops" of his forces.

Towards the end of Boswer's recounting of his experience with the Light Group, we are told the Darkness's forces finally located the base of the Light Group and we preparing to attack. While Light Group forces tried to hold them off, Boswer realizes he must warn the KvT of Darkness's growing forces and threat to our ('our' referring to the KvT's) universe and the multiverse as a whole, and the information that Darkness's followers have some sort of interest in the KvT.

As Darkness's forces break into the base and battles break out, with the Light Group losing, Boswer's only possible way to return to his world is through the material-transporter which is hazardous to living matter. It's Boswer's only chance, however. Setting the target to the KvT in its universe, and taking the scroll from which he has been writing of his experience among the Light Group, Boswer makes a jump into the transport cell.

Boswer then concludes. He states that he somehow managed to survive, but that it had a bizarre effect on his vision, which may have something to do with why the coloration of his eyes has been inverted. Boswer now wants to stand alongside Ivan and rule the KvT with him in preparation for the battles against Darkness to come.

I was considering changing how this storyline would be presented so as to keep Boswer more frequently appearing throughout the season and allow more of the Light Group to be fleshed out. I was considering showing scenes in every episode of Boswer being among the Light Group, and this particular episode would ultimately serve as a major development for Boswer's character in realizing his purpose and newfound goodness and jumping into the transporter cell. However, for this document, I simply left it that this entire experience would just be recounted within this one episode and Boswer would be unseen for the majority of the season.

Season 3 Episode 12 is a Theta-centric which would give us the Theta-Doshi meeting. Doshi would talk with Theta about his emotional conflicts and "touch" him.

Season 3 Episode 13 represents a major turn in the storyline. As Darkness's forces start to make attacks in this world, the KvT tries to combat them. Suspicious evidences arise implicating each of the main KvT members to be turning against each other. Boswer warns that it may just be planted false evidence by the mysterious Jaytrex to fool them all into turning against each other.

Despite being in the advanced stages of her pregnancy, Elizabeth is called into a battle against Darkness as the situation becomes desperate. Elizabeth manages to stay cautious, however, sudden attacks directed from within the KvT's own forces in the midst of battle severely injure a number of KvT troops, Elizabeth among them, and they are rushed back to CvK for emergency medical care.

Elizabeth survives, but loses both of her unborn babies, Sonny and Willow, due to the attack. At first in shock, she remains in the medical bay for a while until the sudden anger and hatred floods within her, and she calls in dark magic into herself to an extreme level. Realizing that the attack which injured her and many others was due to someone on the inside instigating it, she breaks her friendships with the KvT members and abandons the group, leaving a lot of destruction with magic as she leaves the castle in a fury of dark hatred. Lots of damage to the lower regions of the castle.

Elizabeth instead joins up with Darkness's forces, now having become very dark in her personality through her dark magic, and starts to immediately, through her incredible power, take a more leading part in Darkness's forces, intending to attack Castle von Koopa and lay waste to it. Eleakam permits this to occur, much to the confusion of Doc and Badd, who are concerned with the erratic and chaotic behavior Elizabeth is exhibiting in her hatred and devastation.

The emotional things which have come to pass, coupled with the suspicions which had already been arising, prompt Mia and Theta to part ways from the KvT. Only Boswer chooses to remain with Ivan in commanding the KvT.

In the Season 3 finale, in the opening scene, we get our first glimpse and the central base of Darkness, a large fortress within a very small universe which mainly just encompasses a short space around the fortress. Dark energies flow all around it. The scene is a flashback of Sneaky being informed that the time to initiate "the plan" is now.

In flashbacks throughout the episode, we learn of Darkness's continued interest in the KvT, especially in Boswer, whom they believe is integral in a plan of theirs. Sneaky helps Boswer cheat and become the KvT leader, and "touches" him, setting a mark on him to ensure that other influences don't redirect the course of Boswer's decisions apart from the goals Darkness's group wants him to achieve.

We later learn, in the final flashback, that Sneaky is none other than Jaytrex, and that Jaytrex is his true name, just as the other members apart from Eleakam have simply adopted nicknames apart from their original names. In the final flashback, Sneaky, whom I shall now refer to as Jaytrex henceforth, arrives following the attack on the Light Group's base. They have all been killed, bodies have filled the base. Some of them have been covered with a sort of white covering thing, which is a custom of their group, to cover the dead of those fallen, although not all had a chance to be covered before they were all killed.

Badd warns Jaytrex not to touch anyone, just as he was never allowed to touch anyone in his life except for Boswer. Badd then leads Jaytrex to a covered body in one of the rooms, where one of the last survivors, the one who last saw Boswer, has dragged a body in the room with him and covered it. Badd kills him, and then uncovers the body, which remains unidentified in this scene, and tells Badd that his time to touch it is now. Jaytrex reaches down to touch the unseen body.

Along with the flashbacks, this episode spends plenty of time in the present day narrative as well. Ivan and Boswer prepare for the ultimate battle to defend Castle von Koopa against Darkness's forces, now led by Elizabeth. A certain haunting sense of doom can be felt by all of them, but Ivan is confident that they will be able to defend the castle.

Theta has been attempting to track the spacetime movements of Boswer's journey back so that he discover if there are any survivors from the Light Group who could help. Mia has chosen to be secluded and on her own since leaving the KvT. However, Theta later locates her and convinces her that he has no ill-intentions, helping her to trust him. Trust, being something he has started to get a better grasp on since getting his emotion chip, and so he takes a leap of faith in trusting Mia as well that she has no ill intentions. They both decide to trust in each other that neither of them is the saboteur that is evidently among the KvT now.

Mia joins Theta in his search for the Light Group.

In one of the last scenes in the episode, the battle commences as Elizabeth leads the forces of Darkness against the KvT forces. They begin to lose, and certain strategic and tactical plans seem to go awry, possibly more evidence for someone on the inside working for Darkness. Ivan is eventually forced to confess defeat and leads a small band of troops through a secret passage of tunnels and pipes in order to retreat, while Boswer stays behind with the majority of the troops. Elizabeth and Darkness's forces quickly overwhelm the KvT troops remaining behind.

Theta and Mia eventually discover the Light Group on our planet, having traveled here in an attempt to warn the KvT themselves of something dark coming, but they had not yet made it passed the barriers of dark energy that Darkness's forces have been filling the world with, and thus were stuck in a temporary settlement in the wilderness.

We learn that there were no survivors of the attack. The Light Group which Theta and Mia are meeting now simply comprises those members who were not present at the base during the attack. The leading member has something to show Theta and Mia, and he warns would be better grasped showing them than explaining it to them.

The leader takes them to where a body has been covered. They state that it was the only body which they brought with them because of its significance. They say that they tracked a dark mark on it, and that it must have been touched by one of the followers of Darkness.

They take the covering off, revealing the shocking truth: it is the dead body of Boswer von Koopa, and his eyes are normal rather than inverted. The Light Group leader states that they picked up evidence of damage due to dimensional travel energy, of the variety they use for their transporter. He says Boswer must have been killed attempting to use it to escape.

Mia and Theta, both barely having any words for this startling and confusing discovery, ask the obvious: If this is Boswer, then who is at Castle von Koopa? They stare at the pitiful body of Boswer for a moment.

The scene cuts to "Boswer" at KvT. Following Elizabeth's success in the battle, a group of surviving troops are being held outside by Darkness's forces. "Boswer" steps out and meets with Eleakam, who refers to him as Jaytrex. Eleakam praises Jaytrex on his work in fulfilling the plan. Elizabeth is confused and a bit concerned by the exchange between the two.

Eleakam then orders to have all of the surviving troops infected and possessed by some of the dark creatures of their army. The KvT members are heard screaming as the dark creatures begin to overtake them, ending the season on an eerie note, as Elizabeth takes one last glance as Castle von Koopa, the last we will see of it for a long time.

Season 4

The beginning scene follows a very swift and successful battle involving the Koopa Empire defending the massive Castle Koopa area from some Mushroom armies. We are introduced to a new leader of the Koopa Empire, although his appearance is kept shadowy and mysterious. This new leader ponders how he became such a powerful leader of the Koopa Empire in just under a month. He decides to recount what happened to himself, and begins to narrate where it all began, starting with a young man...

Ivan leads the surviving troops of the KvT through the wilderness as they are constantly pursued by Darkness forces. We learn that Darkness's forces are actually attempting to antagonize Ivan to go in a particular direction.

Elizabeth has become a cruel and erratic member among Darkness's high-ranking followers. Elizabeth demands answers as to why Jaytrex has such a similar appearance to Boswer and why he was impersonating Boswer. Jaytrex reveals that this is a plan that has been engineered from the beginning. When Jaytrex, as "Sneaky", helped Boswer become the KvT leader and "touched" him, he was setting up Boswer to be one day used for the purpose of Darkness's plan, the purpose of which, Jaytrex would later on need to touch Boswer once more, an act which would cause his own dark, mysterious form to take the form of Boswer's. Boswer needed to be dead first, however, for it to take effect, and they wanted Boswer to spend time among the Light Group so as to add credence to the claims from Jaytrex that he had been apart of the Light Group and was working against Darkness, so as to deceive the KvT. However, they did not want to lie, but wanted Boswer to actually make the choice of being among the Light Group, so that should the Light Group ever come into contact with the KvT again, that they wouldn't be able to point out that Jaytrex, as Boswer, was lying about being a member of their group. Jaytrex was restricted from ever touching anyone else, as doing so would alter the path of that person's destiny so that Jaytrex would possess them, but Jaytrex could only take the form of one body, and it absolutely needed to be Boswer's for this plan to work.

Elizabeth realizes that Jaytrex, in the guise of Boswer, was responsible for spreading the distrust amongst them and was responsible for the sabotage in their attack plan which led to her miscarriage. She becomes enraged and tries to kill Jaytrex, but Eleakam, through his own dark power, is able to stop her.

Mia and Theta, at the Light Group's camp, give the body of the real Boswer an honorable burial and funeral and decide that they should remain among the Light Group for a while as the threat of Darkness has now become imminent.

Ivan's group, continually pursued by Darkness's forces, is put in the desperate situation where Ivan believes the only way to combat Darkness's forces is to get the forces of the Koopa Empire to combat them. However, Ludwig, still disdainful of the KvT due to Boswer's corrupt ways of becoming a prince, instead chooses to ignore Ivan and has the KvT forces locked in the Koopa Empire dungeons.

Realizing that Ludwig refuses to listen, Ivan formulates a plan to break free and overthrow Ludwig and replace him with a more open-minded leader. Ivan and the KvT troops break out and a battle ensues in the castle. Ivan, using his mental powers, greatly aids the KvT troops and hinders the KT (Koopa Troop) troops. Ivan kills Ludwig.

As Ivan tries to decide who should be leader, and realizing the tremendous success of his leadership, planning, and power, and by the encouragement of his troops, Ivan decides to take the throne himself.

The episode returns to the time period of a month later, with Ivan now commanding the entire Koopa Empire and turning it into a fearsome force with his incredible mental powers, so powerful that, as he has discovered, he can influence the entire forces of the Koopa Empire. Ivan is also more aged-looking as he has grown a mustache and beard (!!!) The episode concludes with Ivan watching from a balcony as his army of Koopas march across the land.

In Episode 2, the Light Group is all but ended as they attempt to attack the new base of Darkness set up on our world, with many of them either slaughtered or possessed by darkness. The last surviving member uses the last of his energy to teleport Mia and Theta, who were among them and battling alongside them, to a distant safe location.

The two head to the Mushroom Kingdom, where they discover the Koopa Empire is now ruled by Ivan with an iron fist. Ivan begins a process of taking over the lands of the world, sending in massive armies against each land and taking over them. They soon arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom as well and quickly take over.

Mia realizes that with all the terrible forces, whether it be Ivan's or Darkness's, growing in the world, that a resistance needs to be formed. Although Mia was shunned by the adepts for leaving them, she is able to persuade them to join together, along with various other Mushroom Kingdomers, into a resistance to combat the oppressive forces growing in the world. The resistance is formed in secret as Peach is forced to surrender and Ivan's forces soon take over the Mushroom Kingdom.

(A quick note: Jaytrex is in the form of Boswer for the entire season except in flashback sequences)

In Episode 3, Elizabeth further questions Jaytrex as to the full purpose of the plan to take on Boswer's form. Jaytrex simply states that the plan has been fulfilled. The point was to do exactly what they did, which was to, in Boswer's form, cause the Koopa von Troop to fall apart. Elizabeth states that Jaytrex has fulfilled his purpose then, and she will be satisfied when he inevitably dies. Jaytrex insists that he has more purpose, however.

Jaytrex, however, contemplating what Elizabeth said, is concerned that he is disposable now and decides to investigate his memories of his life to recall his experiences among Darkness's forces. Using a device created by Doc, Jaytrex is able to explore his mind and recall his life.

Jaytrex, in the early years, was the only other member of the KvT along with Eleakam, the second in command. Eleakam had become Darkness's second in command long before. We learn that Darkness has a certain interest in our world in particular, which is why he finds creatures from our world to be his top followers. Jaytrex, however, is unique. When Darkness laid waste to a world, converting its persons into dark energies, Darkness fashioned one into the person of Jaytrex, creating him for a specific purpose. Jaytrex always considered himself special and of top importance. However, as we explore his past, we discover, as does Jaytrex as well as he recalls it, that Jaytrex's purpose has always revolved around the plan involving Boswer, and that it concludes with taking Boswer's form and tearing the KvT apart.

We also learn, through this, that Darkness's own origin is unknown and is unseen by everyone except for Eleakam. Some speculation that perhaps Darkness originated from a distant part of the multiverse, but it will forever remain a mystery if he is the only one of his kind and if his power to absorb dark power is natural or something he grew in his ability of.

Jaytrex concludes his exploration of his life, and comes to realize and accept that he has fulfilled the only purpose, the only point that was ever given to his existence, and that he is now disposable. This is greatly distressing to him.

Elizabeth continues to spread the land with darkness, and even erratically attacks some Koopa Empire forces for the fun of it. She also denies the existence of Darkness, believing that Eleakam, the only one who has ever actually met him (supposedly), is behind everything.

Concerned with her erratic behavior which goes against their carefully planned operations, Eleakam heads back to the fortress of Darkness through a dimensional portal and enters an elevator which takes him up to a higher room to meet with Darkness and consult with him on Elizabeth. Eleakam enters the room, and it is revealed that Darkness is indeed a real person, with the appearance of a massive, dark, cloaked and hooded figure with which floats in the room as he continuously absorbs the dark power from the multiverse.

No need for verbal language, for, through the dark energy, Darkness is able to communicate with Eleakam. Eleakam leaves the fortress and returns to the base in our world, where he divulges to everyone but Elizabeth that it will soon be time to eliminate Elizabeth from their fold.

In Episode 4, Elizabeth battles with her pain and grief still of losing her children, although she makes herself appear to be totally inhuman and evil to everyone else. She continues to make attacks against the lands of our world with the dark forces.

It is revealed that Elizabeth has not been "touched" by any of Darkness's forces, for they do not want her with her erratic nature to be linked to their forces. Instead, they will just absorb her dark power and leave her be.

Ivan decides it is time to put an end to Darkness's growing influence in the world, and prepares a massive army to attack the Darkness base on our world. Mia and Theta also lead resistance members to the base and join in the battle. Elizabeth sends dark forces against all in a big battle.

Elizabeth finds herself being overcome in the battle. Eleakam and the others decide it is their time to leave, and they abandon Elizabeth to be killed in the battle. However, Darkness emerges through a portal and directly absorbs all of the dark power out of her, a process leaving her severely weakened mentally and physically. Darkness returns to his dimension.

Mia and Theta manage to find Elizabeth, who is now shaking and huddled up in a room. The two carry her to safety and escape as Ivan's forces destroy the base.

Episode 5: With Ivan having resolved the Darkness conflict and with Mia and Theta's presence having become known to him again, he has his forces pursue them, hoping to bring them to him so he can rekindle his friendship with them. Eventually, the resistance forces and Ivan's forces come to a stand off, but Mia and Theta suggest to meet with Ivan in a private location where they can't be traced. Ivan, however, has become so enthralled in his power over the Koopa Empire, refuses to allow them to get by with their continued resistance, so they decide to continue on, managing to throw his forces off their trail as they return to the resistance hideout. Ivan realizes he will never be friends with them again, and decides to shut off his emotional feelings towards them.

Throughout the episode, Elizabeth is seen shaking and screaming and a bit psychotic from the experience of having been absorbed by Darkness. She seems to be caught up in her own frightened world and can't recognize anyone around her, although towards the end of the episode, she starts to recognize them again.

The next several episodes depict continued battling between the resistance and Ivan's Koopa Empire. Darkness's forces continue to observe the former KvT members, and they join Ivan's Empire, posing as normal troops, but helping to get things moving along towards their intended goal.

Episode 6: Elizabeth deals with the traumatic experience of losing her children as well as the traumatic experience of having had her darkness absorbed from her, as she experiences nightmares and terrible visions of Darkness himself taking over her, which she overcomes by the end of the episode.

Episode 7: A device from the Koopa Empire is used (as we learn, was developed by Doc) in an attempt to control Theta remotely via his emotions. Theta struggles with maintaining his willpower over them until Mia eventually helps him to find and destroy the Empire's emotion-affecting device. We also learn that Theta has developed some sort of powerful feeling for Mia, perhaps like love, although he keeps this a secret from her.

Episode 8: Darkness's forces want to absorb a pocket of dark energy from beneath a town of otherwise peaceful and good-natured people. Elizabeth, struggling with guilt over her turn to Darkness and betraying the KvT, learns to forgive herself as she disrupts Darkness's forces' operation in the town and manages to turn the dark energy into powerful light energy which flows all around the town. Elizabeth is also visited by Doshi who talks with her about her recent experiences. He also "touches" Elizabeth. Elizabeth asks why he didn't touch Boswer, and Doshi states that he visits people at integral moments in the turning points of their characters, but that when the time came to visit Boswer, he had already been touched by Darkness. Doshi states that Elizabeth had not been touched by them, however, in spite of her close proximity to them. He states that that seems to be proof that she was never truly evil, just driven to make many great mistakes from her pain. Doshi tells her that she has a power within her, a power of light, which they feared to get too close to, and so they did not "touch" her as they did with Boswer.

Episode 9: For a special infiltration mission, Theta's central mechanical neural net is placed within a fleshy, artificially created Koopa body. Theta, now no longer as a robot but as this Koopa, gets to experience feelings of touch and the senses which he did not have before as he infiltrates the Koopa Empire and crosses through its lands for an important resistance mission. Upon returning, Theta agrees to have himself returned to his own body, for he still values the logical mind he needs for the war over a more physical body, even if it means that Mia could never love him like he loves her.

Episode 10: On a mission to another universe, Badd, accompanied by Jaytrex, battle it out with the forces of Doshi as both forces attempt to gain control of a universe. In the midst of battle, Jaytrex crosses over into a Doshi-controlled universe.

Jaytrex wants to meet with Doshi himself, for this universe, being under Doshi's control, is beyond the spacetime and causal influence and foresight of Darkness. We learn quite a lot more about Doshi and his realm(s) in this episode and see him much more than we did in his miniscule appearances in prior episodes.

Jaytrex is worried that his demise is coming soon, due to his loss of purpose and as foretold by Eleakam often, and so he wishes Doshi to help him. Doshi and Jaytrex get into a discussion about "sparks" which refer to the spiritual essences of sentient entities, some sparks have the touch of light needed to be called a "soul". Jaytrex has no soul, however, just a spark.

Jaytrex makes a deal with Doshi, offering up his spark to Doshi in the exchange that Doshi allow Jaytrex to choose a new purpose and destiny beyond Darkness's forces and influence. Doshi "touches" Jaytrex, and he is returned back to universe where the battle was occurring.

Badd and Jaytrex eventually return to our world, and Jaytrex is excited that he can now go beyond the influences of Darkness. But he doesn't seem quite aware of the implications of the deal he has just made with Death.

Episode 11: As Ivan tightens his grip over the world with increased forces and action, Mia believes the resistance is not meeting up to the challenge. After investigating several battle plans, Mia believes that if the entire amassed resistance from around the world meets up and takes on the forces at Castle Koopa, they can overthrow Ivan's rule once and for all.

Mia's plan is met with disagreement due to the improbability of its success, but Mia warns that it is their only chance left before it becomes impossible to overcome Ivan. The leading adept orders against it. Theta encourages her to take a stand against the leader since he is not up to the task of doing what needs to be done. Mia takes on the leader in a battle and overcomes him, and takes leadership of the adepts and the resistance as a whole herself.

The resistance then amasses and heads on to Castle Koopa for a final battle.

Episode 12: A MASSIVE battle between the resistance and the Koopa Empire outside Castle Koopa.

Eventually, Mia and Theta make it into the castle. Ivan has been driven mad with rage at this point and brutalizes Mia in a confrontation, leaving her gravely injured. When Theta catches up and sees what has a happened, a sudden fury overcomes him as he blasts a flamethrowing sort of weapon against Ivan, badly burning part of Ivan's face before Ivan manages to escape.

The resistance finally overpowers the Koopa Empire.

As Ivan escapes via tunnels and pipes, he runs alone. Jaytrex is concerned that allowing this to happen has gone against their plan, but Eleakam excitedly corrects him that this has gone exactly according to plan. He states that Phase 2 is complete.

Episode 13, the second to last episode, Eleakam further elaborates on the full plan involving the KvT to Jaytrex.

A three phase plan which we've known about since Season 1 (I'm not sure if I ever established that in writing):

In Season 1, we learn of a "Phase 1"
In Season 2, we learn that "Phase 1" is the first of 3 phases
At the end of Season 3, we learn that Phase 1 is complete
At the start of Season 4, it is established that Phase 2 is beginning.
Phase 2 is complete as of the battle against Castle Koopa.
Now, Phase 3, the final phase begins.

Eleakam tells Jaytrex that the plan has all along been for the sake of leading Ivan down a particular path. The entire plan to impersonate Boswer and tear the KvT apart was so that Ivan would eventually grow in his power as he overtook the Koopa Empire in retaliation, and that once being overthrown, he would be in the right state of mind for Phase 3, the final phase in the plan, to be complete. It is now time for them all to work. They will succeed, for Darkness has foreseen it.

Jaytrex decides to finally take advantage of the deal he made with Doshi by beginning a process of merging his essence with Darkness. As Darkness, Eleakam, Doc, and Badd head through a dark portal through time, Jaytrex has taken advantage of Darkness's lack of foresight over Jaytrex's decisions lack of influence over him to arrange the dark time portal so that it functions a second mechanism of tying Jaytrex's spark to Darkness's, and thereby elevating Jaytrex from a purpose-fulfilled waste that will meet his demise at any moment, to being intrinsically tied to Darkness, the one in control of it all.

Mia is rushes to a hospital, barely clinging to life and in a coma. Elizabeth and a distressed Theta investigate spacetime movements from Castle Koopa to Darkness's fortress in his dimension, now abandoned. They investigate the fortress but find nothing, only small little details. They learn of the chronology of the fortress, that it once belonged to a group that fought against Darkness, but they were eventually overcome and defeated by Darkness, and their universe was shrinked down greatly, and Darkness established it as his central location for absorbing dark power.

A mysterious diagram of sorts is also seen on a wall, depicting an eerie and ancient drawing of a skeleton with a scythe in a combative position against a devil with a pitchfork. Beneath this picture is a number of small circles, many of them either marked with a scythe or with a pitchfork, some still empty.

I was uncertain as to how this would be explained or if it would be left vague, but my intention for this was that this was created by the original inhabitants of the fortress/universe. The skeleton represented death and the devil represented darkness. Which, as we know, translates to Doshi and Darkness in this storyline. The scythe/pitchfork marks are to indicate universes which Doshi and Darkness have conquered. From the viewpoint of the original inhabitants of this fortress, the battle of Death and Darkness is a very ancient one (given how the timelines of various dimensions don't quite line up perfectly with each other). They may have even taken Doshi and Darkness to literally be the personifications of all death in darkness in the world (although whether that's true or not is never stated in this story! Just something interesting to wonder about).

The universe suddenly begins to shrink in on itself, and Elizabeth and Theta realize that Darkness has set it up to collapse in on itself. The two barely manage to escape back to our universe.

Mia finally recovers, much to the joy of Theta, and he confesses his love to Mia. It's rather weird and surprising to her, but she still holds him as a dear friend, as they also hold Elizabeth as a dear friend, as she holds them.

Lots of celebration with resistance-aligned forces. Did I mention Tory was a resistance member? Boswer's old flame. Well, I mentioned it now!

The episode also follows a broken Ivan as he wanders through the world, lost with himself and enraged at the loss of his power and what he has done to Mia. The episode concludes with his arrival on Magma Island.

(New details cont'd due to character limit)

Episode 14, the series finale, is essentially what I had written in one of the replies above. I'll add further clarification to points and mention new things I added into the story.

The Everlasting Sunshine (I renamed it The Everlasting Sunlight)

I had envisioned these scenes being reordered slightly, but I'm too lazy to reorder them, and they're all basically the same thing regardless, so I'll leave them as is.

ACT I: Yoshio find himself in the Other World. He reunites with Boswer, Ivan, and the other troops and they head to Castle von Koopa. As they make themselves comfortable, Yoshio calls out for Doshi’s name, but goes unanswered.

This is referring to the "alternate timeline" Doshi brought Yoshio into in Season 1. The episode begins with Yoshio standing where he was in the "alternate timeline", with no recollection of any of the events that happened since, and instead seems befuddled by Doshi's sudden disappearance after telling him he needed to not put the two wires together.

In the Real World, Doshi observes the goings-ons. Ivan is tracked by some of the Resistance forces. Ivan kills them and then sets up a large electric barrier and continues to run through the mountains. Mia, Elizabeth, and Theta prepare to find him, but they are suddenly split to two time periods by Doshi.

ACT II: Doshi explains what he has done to them, saying that he has sent Elizabeth and Theta thirty years into the future. Doshi explains everything from Darkness’s plans, paradox holes, and his own plans for the Koopa von Troopa. Then - poof - he’s gone.

Of the many sparks and souls that enter the world, some come more powerful than others. Doshi explains that Ivan's was unimaginably and shockingly powerful, unbeknownst to him or anyone else in his life, to the point where it had the capacity to influence the multiverse, to a greater extent than even Darkness ever could.

Doshi explains that Darkness wanted to get Ivan in the state of mind where Ivan would submit himself to be taken over by Darkness and be able to manipulate his colossally unimaginable power. Darkness orchestrated everything in this story so that Ivan would be forced to take command, exercise his great mental power in doing so and controlling the massive forces of the Koopa Empire, and finally, causing Ivan to be in such an emotionally broken state by losing everything that Ivan would be easily swayed to give himself over to Darkness. Darkness, with Ivan's immense power, would take over our universe, and much of the multiverse - possibly all of it, although it is beyond foresight to know how far Darkness would be able to go with Ivan's power.

However, Ivan was so powerful that Darkness could not even begin to control it. The only option was to travel to the future to a time where Darkness-Ivan's power filled the universe and much of the multiverse, and would allow present day Darkness to become powerful enough to take over present day Ivan after he gave himself up. Thus, a paradox, for Ivan's darkened power in the future would be needed to darken it in the first place.

Doshi explains that when he lived among the Koopas, he experimented with reality, and created a "paradox hole", a hole within the fabric of spacetime which would cause some sort of paradox. He created it on Magma Island and then left it there. However, Darkness decided to take advantage of this paradox hole in order to fulfill the paradox needed to gain Ivan's power.

Doshi explains that he has been at war with Darkness in trying to control universes. Doshi states that he came up with a plan to stop Darkness and seal the influence of the paradox hole off from the multiverse. Doshi explains that all of them were doomed to fail as Darkness took over. It was their destiny. But Doshi visited them at certain points in their lives that had great emotional significance to them to help them remember what they need to fight for, and to "touch" them so that their destinies are no longer set in stone, but so that they can choose a different destiny and stop Darkness.

Doshi has sent Elizabeth and Theta into the darkened future to stop Darkness, enhanced by the power there, from traveling back through time, while leaving Mia in the present to persuade Ivan not to give into Darkness. Both ends must be fulfilled in order to undo the paradox hole's influence.

Doshi leaves it to them, and disappears.

In the Other World, Yoshio is offered to visit the isolated island through a pipe by Boswer. Yoshio is accompanied by Blueka. Yoshio visits the tunnel where he died, has flashes to his previous life, and realizes where he is, and sets off back for the castle.

Here, Yoshio revisiting his death as he feels drawn to it triggers him to remember everything up to his death. He suddenly has an innate understanding of this "alternate timeline" world and its purpose.

ACT III: Yoshio arrives at the castle, reawakens Blueka, and then sends him to fetch Theta, and prepare a meeting between Boswer and Tory. Yoshio advises Ivan to head for Grass Land and collect a key-half, then goes to meet Mia in the Mushroom Kingdom, and advises her to visit where Ivan will be.

Yoshio does something to trigger Blueka to remember everything and has him help him get everyone together to trigger their memories.

I later revised this in my mind that Ivan wasn't going after a "half-key". Rather, they would be averting some BlackBones mischief. Yoshio would instead meet with Elizabeth and persuade her to join with him to enter the cavern containing the key to the Doors of Doom (or Doors of Opportunity, as I renamed them).

In the Real World, Mia sets off on the doomship for the mountains where Ivan is hiding. The electric barrier prevents them from going any further, but Mia is able to pull through the barrier. Ivan stumbles into a cave, where he meets Darkness.

I changed this from "mountains and caves" to Castle von Koopa. Ivan wanders through Castle von Koopa, and Mia tracks him there. Ivan meets with Darkness in Castle von Koopa.

ACT IV: Elizabeth and Theta traverse the dark future, where they are forced to see the horrendous sights as well as defeat Badd. They must deal with some creepy crawlers, and Darkness and Jaytrex put their make preparations.

The Darkness-dominated universe is very twisted and horrific with its overflow of dark power. The sun is gone from the sky, and in its place almost seems to be the image of Darkness's own twisted figure.

ACT V: In the Other World, Yoshio reunites with Theta, reinstalls his emotion chip, and sends him to an icy mountain to collect another key-half. Yoshio then proceeds to meet with a strangely pregnant Elizabeth, goes on a date with her, and advises her to go to the icy world as well. Meanwhile, Yoshio convinces Boswer to meet with Tory. Meanwhile, Ivan and Mia are attacked by BlackBones and Mr. X’s forces.

Ivan and Mia are only attacked by BlackBones in my revised version of this. Also, Elizabeth is not yet pregnant, but Yoshio advises her to take an injection of some fluid (containing Yoshio's... "fertilizers") which induces a fast pregnancy. Elizabeth has never met Yoshio in this timeline, but somehow knows she can trust him on some level and decides to do it. Elizabeth and Theta meet to collect the door key while Ivan and Mia stop BlackBones trouble.

ACT VI: In the Real World, Darkness reminds Ivan of all of his troubles and darkness in life, flashing him back to several moments in his life. Darkness attempts to convince Ivan to hand over the power of his mind to him, and Mia arrives at the cave.

Correction: room, not cave.

ACT VII: In the Other World, Mia and Ivan fight through Mr. X’s forces from afar, and Ivan finds an opportunity to save a lot of people from the forces. Mia brutally beats BlackBones. The two remember their past life, and are instructed to return to Castle von Koopa by Yoshio. Boswer and Tory have their date, and Boswer heads back for Castle von Koopa. Theta and Elizabeth meet up at the icy mountains.

Mr. X is not yet involved in my revision. I also envisioned that something emotionally significant to Ivan and Mia's characters would trigger their memories. Whether it be each other, or perhaps something reflective of their growth in characters (such as helping some innocent Yoshi bystanders from BlackBones as opposed to the more brutal nature they had become in the original timeline world)

ACT VIII: In the Real World, Theta and Elizabeth infiltrate Darkness’s fortress, defeat much villainy, discover the vegetables, and Theta sacrifices himself to defeat Doc.

The vegetables refer to the many persons of the universe who are now kept in vegetative states, plugged into technology and dark magic.

I envisioned Theta's dramatic sacrifice as trying to hold up with every last ounce of his strength a large crushing press machine thing from above which had been set up in this now altered version of Castle von Koopa in the future by Doc for factory-like purposes. Eleakam, fleeing, creates a dark barrier from beneath the press machine which Elizabeth struggles to break down while Theta struggles with his powerful robot strength to hold up the pressing machine.

Doc uses the remote emotion device again to afflict Theta's emotions to make him lose his grip, so that it will crush on him and Elizabeth. Theta, realizing what is going on, dramatically reaches into the back of his head (while still barely holding up the press with his other hand) and ripping out his emotion chip, with emotional feelings and memories flickering away as he pulls it out and sparks flare everywhere. His last emotional image is that of Mia before the chip is finally ripped out. Theta then continues, emotionless, to fulfill his objective as he holds up the machine press. Elizabeth finally breaks the dark barrier down and makes it through. Doc rushes under the machine press to pursue Elizabeth.

Theta lets go, allowing the machine to crush down on both himself and Doc, killing them both. Elizabeth is upset by Theta's death but knows she must carry on.

ACT IX: In the Other World, Elizabeth goes into labor and Theta helps her through it. Elizabeth remembers her past. The two collect the key-half, and upon returning to the castle, Theta remembers as well. Yoshio convinces Boswer to go to the Doors of Opportunity.

Elizabeth lays the two eggs. I was undecided if they should hatch or not and reveal Sonny and Willow. Perhaps.

Theta remembers upon meeting Mia for the first time... or, as it turns out, is not the first time!

Meeting Tory could not trigger Boswer's memory. Something greater is holding him down. Yoshio knows this, which is why he had Theta and Elizabeth get the key. The original trio of Boswer, Ivan, and Yoshio embark through a pipe to the island of the Doors of Opportunity, where they face Mr. X and defeat him. Ivan and Yoshio turn back and leave Boswer to enter the doors and find what lies inside himself. Boswer unlocks it and starts to open it as the scene changes.

ACT X: In the Real World, Mia tries to convince Ivan to return to the light. Ivan ultimately does. Elizabeth pwns Eleakam, but Darkness goes travels back through time, however, she is able to fight Jaytrex, who has merged with him, and defeat him. Darkness becomes enclosed within the paradox hole, and Mia, Ivan, and Elizabeth are engulfed in light. They find themselves back at Castle von Koopa, where Doshi bids them adieu.

I envisioned a battle of both emotion and action for this scene, alternating between both. In the present day, Darkness tries to persuade Ivan to submit himself, but Mia reaches out to the goodness left in his heart and convinces Ivan not to do it. While, Elizabeth, despite having failed to stop Darkness from traveling back, she senses Jaytrex's intrinsic connection to Darkness now and struggles through his dark connection to reverse Darkness's decision to go back and pull him back to the future.

We see spacetime vibrate and shake as Darkness yells out as his plan is stopped. Darkness grabs Ivan and pulls him into the paradox hole.

Now merged as the dark entity Darkness-Jaytrex, he battles Ivan inside the paradox hole, which manifests as a chamber with a giant Yoshi (Doshi) statue and a giant Darkness statue. Both statues contain portals leading to other worlds. Ivan doesn't want to go through the Darkness portal, sensing the darkness of it, and instead heads for the Doshi portal, however, Ivan feels his life choking out of him as he gets closer to it. He looks through the portal window and sees the 'alternate timeline world' and the joy of everyone, although he does not understand what he is seeing and only knows that the power of this portal is killing him.

Ivan overcomes Darkness-Jaytrex and heads back for the Darkness portal, sensing life from it. The Doshi statue suddenly blasts light against the Darkness statue, representing Doshi's defeat of Darkness. Ivan barely makes it through the portal, leading him back to our world.

As the paradox hole closes, the lava of the Magma Island volcano begins to overflow the room and times merge. Ivan, Mia, and Elizabeth can now see each other. As time suddenly starts to close in together with lava, a blast of light appears.

The light fades, and the three have been transported outside Castle von Koopa where they meet with Doshi. He has returned them all outside to the present day time period. Doshi declares the success of the plan. Darkness-Jaytrex is forever sealed outside of time and space within the paradox hole, and Darkness will ultimately never take over the multiverse.

Doshi states that all deaths shall remain permanent, however, and thus leaves Theta dead, as well as Darkness's goons.

Doshi disappears, the last they will ever see of him in this story.

The three head inside the castle to have a look around. As they open the doors to go in, the scene cuts to Boswer opening the Doors of Opportunity. Boswer finds, inside, a rotted mushroom, and he suddenly remembers his life.

Depressed and confused by the lack of clarity as to what this all means, Boswer wanders through the room, and thus he stops obscuring the sunlight, allowing it to shine on the rotten mushroom. Suddenly, King Bowser materializes in the room from the rotted shroom!

The two are both in tears, and Boswer is confused, as King Bowser is dead. King Bowser helps Boswer to realize that he, too, died. The world they are in now is the realm of Death, having been constructed in such a way to help the dead come to terms with their own lights and darknesses before they move on into whatever is next.

King Bowser decides not to go with Boswer. Boswer rejoins the group at Castle von Koopa, meeting with Tory, Ivan, Yoshio, Elizabeth, Sonny, Willow, Mia, Saber, Theta, and Blueka as they all leave on a doomship and start to head into the sunlight in the sky.

This alternates with scenes of Ivan, Mia, and Elizabeth in the broken-down castle in the alive, present-day time period. The three stare through the window at the sunlight shining brightly in the sky. Ivan notices a phone communicator switch he used to use to contact Boswer in the castle.

In the Other World, the entire group is engulfed in sunlight as their doomship heads towards it. The last scene is of Ivan, in a sort of sentimental and reminiscing sort of way, pulls the switch for the phone communicator as he often would. I envisioned that the first scene in this fic series would be him doing it to contact Boswer, and so it would end with him doing it.

Two more bits of information about the final episode I forgot to mention!

When Theta is crushed by the machine press, I had intended to describe his last moments of consciousness as his "sight" of everything sort of shrinking down into nothingness. Like, let's say his vision is like, red, and there are words and things that appear on his internal visual "screen". And then that all sort of shrinks down and blinks into nothing with a sort of strained computerized sound. I just liked that added bit of detail to it.

Oh, and the other thing, I envisioned that in the fight between Elizabeth and Jaytrex, that some of the lava from the volcano that CvK is attached to starts to flow up a bit, and Elizabeth is somehow able to cast him into it partially a bit maybe, and it burns away some of his flesh, kind of revealing the more black silhouette figure he used to look like in the "exposed" parts, and his voice would start to sound like a twisted cross between his original voice of his "Sneaky" form as well as Boswer's voice of his new "Boswer" form.

EDIT: Adding a third! Regarding the point about the darkened future with no sun, I imagined it would be pretty inhospitable to life as a result. I imagined Elizabeth would need to use some sort of magic to keep herself alive, while robot Theta would be quite safe on his own.
