Another thought from Monday's meeting: Lynda Scheel spoke about the "board retreat" that replaced the committee meeting that was canceled last week. She stated that they primarily discussed communication between board members because they have heard from the community that we want better communication between board members. Has anyone ever heard a member of the community asking for better communication between board members? Where did this come from? Certainly we have asked for better communication with the parents and community...but between board members?

I just spoke with one of the women who got up to speak at Monday's board meeting for the first time. Apparently she woke up to syrup, kethcup, and salad dressing all over her cars and garage along with a rotten granny smith apple with sticky syrup all over it in her mailbox. As best she can tell, hers is the only house to be targeted. I certainly hope that it is just a juvenille prank. Who would do such a thing? |

Maybe she should have the O&E come take a picture of her standing by it. (sorry, I couldn't resist) It certainly makes one wonder doesn't it??? |

Now that would be funny. I was actually grateful to the person who chose mustard instead of something else because it was warm enough out that it wiped right off. However, it did scream out adult. Eggs scream kids, Mustard screams adult in my opinion.

Frankly, it just screams "I can't face your argument, so I'll throw things". |

On a serious note, this is terrible. I hope it is just a coincidence and not what I think really happened. It just brings flashbacks to the recall days. |

Oh, that is horrible. Do you know if there was permenant damage? Teen prank or nasty adult prank, that is still so mean. What is proven by this? Is it meant to scare or intimidate? I would be really upset to hear that is was because she spoke her feelings at a board meeting Isn't that what 'Audience Communication' is for? To speak your mind and let the board know how you're feeling about LPS, good or bad?

Well, it's no surprise. They now know they were sold a lousy bill of goods, and are angry they believed in it. So now they are plain old PO'd.....and are acting out. |
