I think Scheel, Freeman, Whitehead, King and Markarian owe it to everyone to voice their thoughts on the 520 student loss. I still can't believe they did not address this during the last board meeting.

Is it just me or all the thank you's getting out of control? They present awards and thank the person. They go off the air to thank them more. Then at the end of the meeting the repeat all the thank you's during the board members time to talk.

I would love to hear their thoughts!! It better not be a repeat of Lessard's "It's not that much money" speech either. I almost became completely unglued when Lessard said that.

Just a little note to Scheel and Freeman--Nothing you say or do is going to change my mind this May. I will personally pack your bags and shut the lights out for you if it gets you out of office faster. I'll even foot the bill for your bus tickets.

Did I really hear correctly that Dan Lessard just said, "That's what we are all about, taking care of our children"........He actually said this after LPS received the gift of $5,000.00. I have complete confidence that the BOE will waste that money as it has with the previous untold millions.

I don't understand the need for some of tonights speakers to mislead the board and public as to their original feelings about the LI.

One of the two women who spoke tonight saying they were on the fence prior to the start of the school year, has been very opposed to this from the beginning. To my knowledge, she hasn't previously spoken in front of the board or publicly made those views known in writing. However she displayed Recall signs from the day they were printed until the election and has spoken "around the schoolyard' about how she disliked this plan and distrusted the board.

Why not just say, I was skeptical, but reserved judgment. Better yet, be up front, as Steve Futrell was, and illustrated points that he believes supports his opinion, at least you can respect his opinion. Why lie?

LIEpa went on and on about the safety measures that LPS has taken. Did he forgot about allowing the English as a Second Language to be housed in an elementary school last year. They allowed complete strangers, with no background checks, to wander around a school filled with hundreds of children. This would have continued unless the parents forced their hands.

Go Randy GO......and take the rest of the board w/ you!!!!
