There is a “Vote for Robert Freeman” sign in front of Frost today to coincide with the craft show. I was just driving by so I don’t know if he was out front passing out leftover Halloween candy. I’m not sure if there are any other candidates at this point but I’m thinking about making an “ANYBODY but Freeman or Scheel for School Board” sign for my front lawn for the time being.

How does Frost allow this? I thought there were rules about where you can place signs. Does this mean Frost endorses Freeman? Doesn't seem right to me :ph43r:

I'm not sure if it's a state law or just a local ordinance, but in Holland it is illegal to display political campaign signs more than a certain time period before an election. I believe the time period is something like one or two months. However as I said, I don't know whether this is local or statewide so I don't know if it applies in Livonia.

PTSA was probably just using an old campaign sign to show where the entrance was to the craft show. It just happened to be one of Freeman's. Just a coincidence?

That would be a reasonable explaination, if I could TRUST Freeman. ;)

I thought the same thing when I first saw it SJC, but when I saw the other side of it, it was covered and did say 'parking', or 'entrance' on it. It is kind of funny that this sign is the one they would use--and that only one side of sign was covered.

There were big sandwich boards all over advertising the craft show. This was a standard size election sign that we see all over.

I'm sure it was probably recycled from his last campaign. Otherwise it would have had a slogan like, "Robert Freeman: Keeping Livonia High Schools Open" or "Robert Freeman: Better Things To Do on Monday Nights". I'm sure Freeman is in his garage right now spray painting graffiti on one of his own signs while the photographer from the Observer is setting up the tripod.

Didn't the City rip down CFLF's Recall signs faster than a bunny?

This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong!!!

Freeman was elected in 2003. Why would there be left over campaign signs from way back then???!!!!

This is a blatant campaign violation!!! And I can't believe that a Trustee would stoop so low as to post his propaganda IN THE SCHOOL.

Bye, Bye Bobby! You gotta play by the rules... ;)

The City must be confused. Why would they RIP down CFLF's RECALL signs, but not any of the others that accompass our area?

I was coming from Eddie Edgar so I did only see one side of the sign. Why didn't the sign say "parking" on both sides? Aren't people who are smart enough to follow the signs to Frost also smart enough to either find the parking lot or notice the scores of cars parked all around the school? You might as well put a sign right in front of the emergency room doors at St Mary's that says "Sick and Injured People - Enter Here."
