How many other school districts will re-open their contracts if Prop. 5 passes? I signed the K-16 petition because I thought an increase in educational funding for our schools made sense......I have since changed my mind. There are no guarantees that this $$$ will make it to the classroom..... I'm just a mom.......and I will vote "NO" on proposal 5. Check this out from the MEA: http://www.mea.org/gov/101806_prop5_pensions.html

After watching the CFLF's Bipartisan Show on Prop. 5 yesterday, I must say, "Congratulations." Excellently executed. The group came off as scholarly and well-informed, acting in the public good--unlike some others in LPS. Great job. AK |
