Principal Posts: 105 Group: Members Member #187 Joined: December 6, 2005	I never thought I'd actually home school, but with all that has happened the past few months I've spoken with others about home schooling. I know there are gym classes and instrumental music classes offered to home schooled children, but have not really researched it enough. With the current LI and other curriculum concerns maybe the time is coming to organize into homeschooling groups. What if Livonia was a community in the forefront to do this? Not only would your children learn the basics, parents could organize groups such as foreign language, bible studies, etc. and would still have time for the kids to play (aka - recess).

3rd Grade Posts: 16 Group: Members Member #296 Joined: January 31, 2006	Home schooled children are eligible to recieve the specials classes. The district recieves a partial foundation grant for providing this service. Call the principal at the school where your child should attend and ask them about it. They have the details. I know one of the "catches" is you need to be fexible to the schedule laid out by the school.
