Where has he been? Has he come out against this? Has he donated money or time? I'm sorry I support the recall but we had better come up with better candidates than this one. If you don't know his positions, then how can you say you would never vote for him?

I hope that he would research all he can about school fianc� and things like no child lift behind. If he is running against some one with 10 years of board service.

Posts: 3,167 Group: Members Member #117 Joined: November 14, 2005	I would expect someone with 10 years of board experience to have the knowledge, training, and certification to be in that position after 10 years. I would also expect that the challenger would strive to get as much information, education, and stakeholder input in the shortest amount of time possible... and putting that to work for the community first.

He is opposed to the LI, and the 'rubberstamping' of the current BOE. He is also opposed to the idea of 'open boundaries', (which is being tossed around as the next bad thing that is going to happen in Livonia), and is interested in looking at different ways to save $ in the budget. Also, in my opinion, "CANNED SPAM IS BETTER THAN JAM"!!!

JAM'S ten years of of Board experience means nothing to me. Her actions over the last few months have proved to me that she is not the best person for the job. Her arrogance and disrespect toward the community is appalling.

I am looking forward to seeing how he handles himself as well as to how Mrs. Morgan addresses the issues the debate raises. "after we hear this guy slogan ideas will fly"

I hope the info regarding King opposing this is correct. My fear is the current BOE will do this as a way to boost enrollment due to the kids who will be leaving due to the LI. IMO open enrollment would be the official end of a quality LPS. We already have a few hundred students taking up spaces in our crowded high schools. I am unable to attend the debate. Hopefully someone will ask the candidates about their stance on this issue.
