I heard that within the past few years, one cut was teacher massages.
Teachers got 2 massages per month, cost of $5 each, rest picked up by the district.....

I'm sure that like many health insurances, mine included, teachers are allowed to receive so many Chiropractic visits in a year, so the use of the term "massage" is I'm guessing therapuetic??? MrTeacher |

Well, actually, during teacher appreciation week..my favorite week of the year, they bring in a Chiropractor to give messages to "tease" you...in hopes you will begin going for Chiropractic services. Truely, it is one of my favorite days of the year.. MrTeacher |

18 years of teaching, I never got one massage. I don't know where you heard this but it must have been a joke. Either that or tell me where to sign up, I can't believe that I've been missing out on this.

I thought chiropracters did "manipulation" not massages? I have had a manipulation done, but never a massage from a chiropracter. |

I do not like being to edit, I just realized I spelled chiroprator wrong. And I apoligize, I guess they do give light massages. Do you think the expense is more than a regular massueuse (sp?) |

My spouse recieved massages as a part of the physical therapy before and after spine surgery. It was covered as a part of the BC PPO with normal deductibles. It was for relaxation but for serious disc replacement on the spine. |
