5th Grade Posts: 28 Group: Members Member #195 Joined: December 7, 2005	Please don't spend any more money on the attorney. He's ripping everyone off. Let's concentrate on the recall and not line the pockets of an overpaid attorney!

And I certinly agree that the long term solution is the recall. However, the legal option gives us some hope of avoiding the train wreck that the next school year promises to become.

I have to say something here. I have a daughter and son-inlaw who are both attorneys They are not ALL bad ! The train wreck will come in SEPT. with out the help of a good attorney

We all know that everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, there are those of us who are still holding out hope that the lawsuit might help. Perhaps someone visiting his site for the first time might see your post, and automatically assume all is lost, when we most likely do need extra money to proceed. If you want to concentrate your efforts on the Recall, then great, I know we need quite a bit more help, but let everyone else decide what they want to do with their money.

Sure it would have been great to have the injunction first time at court, but is it time to give in? Of course we will not win all the battles but we sure as hell better do WHATEVER we can do to stop Legacy. If it means fundraisers to finance the lawsuit then we need to just do it. I do not want to look back at this a year from now and wish we would have followed through with the lawsuit. IT IS WORTH THE MONEY IF IT STOPS LEGACY!! If it doesnt work we can know we did all that we could have done. We need to continue on this path. There will be those who are pro Legacy who will have comments, disregard them.

But, Mayor told another attorney on the way out of the first meeting that it was a long shot. I just think he's doing what he's supposed to do--creating billable hours. Believe you me, I wish we have a case. I hope we have a case. But, the judge said, where's your proof? Mayor should have known this.
