STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS Mayor Jack Engebretson will deliver his State of the City Address this year at the Burton Manor Banquet and Conference Center on Tuesday, March 14. The revitalized Livonia Chamber of Commerce will host the State of the City Address again this year. This popular event brings together a representative cross-section of the residential, business and professional community -- to look at the previous year in review and consider the City’s immediate and long-term goals. In many ways, the year 2005 represented a turning point in Livonia’s history. Perhaps more than ever, concerned citizens must stay informed and involved. City Channel 8 will cablecast the taped State of the City Address at 8:00 p.m. on March 29, April 5 and April 19 (all Wednesdays) and on Monday |

Please post any articles on this. Why is this speech givin at a lucheon on a Tuesday morning? It would reach more folks if it were on in the evening and on live channel 8. |

It's always listed as a luncheon. It is a Chamber function and was a live event on Channel 8. It will be rebroad cast for everyone to listen too. This is event is open to eveyone. Tickets are sold in advanced for the function. |
