I have no idea if it is of any importance except to me but on top of my personal negative thoughts about the LI being punative vs innovative, I feel entirely betrayed by the current BOE. I was not "politically aware" and/or did not live in Livonia during the times of prior school closings. It got me wondering how past Livonia BOE's handled school closings...community in-put, timelines used, etc. I'm happy to do my own research but would appreciate if any one could give me an idea of where to start. Are past BOE minutes from the 80's available on-line or do you think it would be easier to look at old Observer minutes, I'm guessing on microfiche? Thanks |

I know that prior to this BOE ( last 10 years? ) the meeting notices and meeting minutes for the BOE meeitngs were published in the O/E. Mysteriously they began to dissapear from the public view without having to make special efforts to obtain them. |

You also see it in the "don't talk" stance taken by the board. Prior boards enjoyed widespread TRUST. That is gone. Mr. Lessard, say hello to your Legacy. |
