Friday at Hoover, supposedly they announced over the P.A system information about how the court case went. Anyone else hearing this? ...do the kids need to hear this stuff? |

My son heard it at Holmes.....not over the PA but from the Teacher! I think it was highly inappropriate. |

f11- Why not, Someone brought their child to court didn't they? Do you think everyone is keeping this stuff away from their children?? I tell my kids everything, they know exactly whats going on so they wont be shocked when they hear it from a classmate. |

Just becuase one person brought their child....that is okay for the rest of us? NO my 7 year old...has no idea....just that her school is closing and she has to go somewhere else. Thats good you tell your children everything....whats right for you....isnt necessarily right for others. |

That was the parents choice to bring their child to court. If the judge would have ruled against the LI, do you think there would have been an announcement and would that have been appropriate? I would have to say no. |

I'm not saying it's right for anyone, only for my child. But taking your child out of school for this is ridiculous don't you think? I bet her whole school know everything. |

We have just begun to fight!

That is a personal choice...not one I would have made, but it is soley up to the parent and is not ours to question |

would it be appropriate to make an announcement such as? "CFLF has "x" signatures, so there will be a recall vote this summer"? |

Again....its up to his/her parents to decide that....no one else. The parent that brought his/her daughter deems what is appropriate for them. No one else. Its really nobodys business in this case. I wouldnt be upset if a supporter brought their child. Who really cares! |

Guess what? Thats a personal choice. I keep my kids out of this. Announcing this over the P.A. is not. You are now using my children. It's all about the kids huh? This is all about to turn VERY, VERY UGLY. |

You keep mentioning this person who took their child to court. That was their choice, it doesn't make the announcement or discussing it in front of the children at school right. |

I agree. My kids didn't even know about the court date at all as far as I know. Elementary aged kids are rather young to be able to fully understand all of this. I would be livid if I found out that they announced something like that over the PA at school! Talk about it in the teacher's lounge if you want to, but that is just wrong. |
