Principal Posts: 74 Group: Members Member #182 Joined: December 6, 2005	I think the cold weather didn't help, but with the warm weekend coming up hopefully we'll see this number grow to 6,100 by the end of the weekend. There are a lot places being set up...I'm going to go work at Washington for a few hours, I'm just not sure how to get people to take time to pull in and sign. Can we stick signs up that say, "sign petitions here" on school property on a weekend without getting in trouble?

You can pick one up at the City Clerks office in City Hall anytime. They have to be turned in, either in person or mailed ( postmarked ), by a certain number of days before the election.

This is wonderfull! So much for the "vocal minority". I wonder which of the current board members can boast getting 4,000 votes.

But, please remember, it will get harder as time goes on. Everyone involved with this campaign must spend several days a week collecting to get another 6,000 signatures in 6 weeks. Not trying to discourage, but don't want people to get tired and burn out. "They" don't believe we can do it! Makes me want to work all the harder to get it done. Also, we must promote Steve King! If you oppose the LI, then you must support King. Otherwise, this whole thing is a wash. King is the better candidate-please pass this along!
