Don't ya hate when you forget some thing....... I just want to make sure that realize I am not questioning your right to impose whatever rule you care to. It's your forum, and we are the guests. PS, do you want all images of board members submitted to you for approval? If so, how? And good lord, how much asperin do you have to take for all the unpaid headaches this job throws your way? ;). |

CFLF is not "trying hard" to disassociate with this forum, because the views and opinions of forum members are NOT necessarily the views and opinions of CFLF. We are stepping in now, because of this confusion. It appears a few people have been getting the wrong impression of what the forum and CFLF are all about. It is only confuing the matter, when people on the forum post comments, and appear to be making statements on behalf of CFLF. While CFLF is against the Legacy Intiative, comments made on this Forum do not entirely reflect the views of the CFLF organization and committee members. This is being stated now because many people are under the belief that this forum was a creation of CFLF - when in fact, the forum was around way before CFLF was even formed. As stated before in another topic, the CFLF website also includes links to the Livonia Public Schools website and to the Demographics web page. One should not assume that we are associated with those sites as well, just because we have provided a link to those sites. |

Lets all be adults here and that responsibilty for what we post. I speak only for myself not CFLF. I support what they are doing 100% and will work with them as best I can. With out that group where would we all be? I take the responsibility for what I post and the responses those posts generate. I must admit that I have said things I wish I could take back. In the heat of anger sometimes our better sense disappears. Alot of us have been very angry the last few months. |

I, for one, have no problems with the postings I have read. What country do we live in? Don't we all believe in the freedom of speech. I do not support the LI at all, but I do not have a problem reading postings from the people that do. We all are entitled to our opinion, wheter it agrees with mine or not. What I am tired of is people trying to tell others how to phrase their postings. I think this website is great therapy. It gives you the opportunity to vent, and it can be done without being nasty. I don't think what I have read so far has been that horrible. This is a very trying and stressful time for all of Livonia. What a great place to get a little stress relief and an occasional laugh! Just "MY" Opinion. |

I think everyone has been respectful here. This is an emotional issue for people, and tensions are running a bit high, but I think overall everyone has handled themselves properly. A little sarcasm here and there, but that's to be expected. People have strong opinions about what they think is right for their children. They are just advocating for them.  Maybe we all do not agree on every issue here, but that's what makes the world go round. What a boring world it would be if we all had the same opinion about everything.  P.S. If you don't agree with me on this, I'm going to get really mad! :angry: Just look at my picture....I wouldn't want to make me mad! :lol: |

I agree, this is an emotional issue. Something would be wrong will all of us, if we were not passionate about what is best for our children. I get tired of all the political correctness. This is still America, and if you don't like what is being said, then leave the site! Just my opinion (& I have lots of em-hehehe) |
