My child riding the bus to Hoover is a small concern. Its not like Taylor parents live far away.....and I personally never had a problem sending my daughter to Hoover at all! My concern is the bus ride to Riley....the distance and the time on the bus! I think most parents will drive....to Hoover. THey would probably be on the bus longer then if we drove them anyway??? I agree Loyal....the bus on the main street...Newburgh is a highly traveled road! Levan is not that bad! I think parking will be an issue.....just not sure how big of one at this point! |

The bus ride to the 5/6 building is not something I can comment on, since I (we) do not have real facts on that one yet. The only part of bussing that I feel I can comment on is the current bus ride my children have to elementary school. It is about 20 -25 minutes, with some time spent on Newburgh and 5 Mile roads. We have had a postive experience with it. Of course, all parents need to look at their own situation and make a decision that they feel is best for their children. All aspects should be considered - length of bus ride, the route, friends and classmates on the bus with them, etc. |

We had a traffic director this morning in the Hoover lot. Thanks for stepping up to the plate!!!! I'm too cranky in the morning to direct traffic with you, but I always follow the rules!!!!!!! |
