You did nothing wrong and I am glad we have people like you helping to fight the LI. We all explain to our kids what we must. My kids' school is slated to close under the LI also, so of course I cannot keep that a secret from them. They have heard from other kids and their teachers. I just tell them that I am doing what I can to try to make sure that the schools are the best they can be, that I hope their school doesn't close, but if it does, they will be fine. They are sad that their school may close, but they understand that I am looking at other schools so that we can decide which is best for them for next year and that they will do very well and will have new and old friends no matter where they go to school next year. |

Thanks Nancy. The good thing about the LI is that I've met alot of very good people that I wouldn't of met otherwise. |

The Legacy intiative has nothing to do with children. It is taking place because it has the possibility to save the city up to 1%. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY!!!!!!! That's what the Legacy is all about. I would bet that there is a underlying motive to this, like some sort of personel interest. Maybe a new horse farm? Maybe new offices for the board? Maybe... someone will receive a kick back from a developer. OOPS, did I just say that?!!! |

Does anyone know exactly where (what floor/room) the hearing is? Or do we find out when we get there? |

If you go to the Citizens for Livonia's Futures Website, it should be posted there! |

I'm sure it is in Judge John A Murphy's courtroom, so if you ask at Security they will direct you. |

I think you misunderstood my question. I know the hearing is at the Coleman Young building, but I don't know what floor or room it is in, and the first post of this topic doesn't provide that information either. I'll just have to ask when I get there where Judge Murphy's courtroom is. Thanks. |
