I have never talked to anyone who likes the plan just many who feel they can't do anything but accept it. |

I think that the opposition and supporters are divided quite geographically. That is not to say that there are not opposers and supporters in every building. At my childs elementary I have not heard of anyone against the plan only people that are in support of the plan. I think that both sides are convinced that they have the majority but since their is no way to prove this maybe this is just a situation to agree to disagree. In court the judge is not making a decision based on this anyway. The decision will be made on the legality of the proceedings that lead to the lawsuit. We know that there are many different opinions regarding that as well. If the case is proven then so be it. If not then I hope the opposition can accept that as well and move forward. |

Don't forget about the RECALL! Remember they are two separate issues.....the lawsuit and the recall. We need a BOE that will represent the community. Rubber stampers need not apply.

Does anyone know if they are re-doing the parking lot at Coolidge next year? I heard that the traffic does not flow too smoothly there and cannot handle additional buses and parent traffic efficiently. |

I do not believe they are. All I can say for next school year if it goes through is "good luck with that". |

Is the parking lot at Coolidge any worse than many other schools in the district? When we went for the open house it was crowded, but did not look as bad as the Hoover parking lot (just on a drive by) |

On activity nights, you can't find parking. People park on sidewalks and grass. When you pick your kids up, if you want in on the parking lot and not the side street, you better be there at least 20 minutes before the bell. |

My child goes to Grant this year, and they seem to have an ok parkinglot, but it is the same thing on activity nights and to pick up after school, so I don't think any school had a great parking lot!!!! |

I do not think any school's parking lots were designed to hold the traffic that they may be experiencing next year. |

We have just begun to fight!

None of the school parking lots were originally designed to accomodate the traffic we see today. They are all receiving quotes for expansion and increased traffic flow. Another example of LPS spending money they desperately say the don't have to support the LI. |
