This can be found on the website listed below from a Livonia Realator. Welcome to Your Interactive Neighborhood Website! A crisis is developing in this neighborhood regarding Washington Elementary School. For those of you who are not aware, Washington will be closed permenantly for the 2006-2007 school year. The Livonia School Board has seen fit to close the school and re-assign the students to a number of other schools based on the grade they will be in. This is a terrible thing for the students and for the homeowners in the neighborhood. It has the potential to have a disastrous effect on home values in this part of Livonia. A group of parents and homeowners have launched a campaign to stop this process. They are called Citizens for Livonia's Future. They have a website that is a must read for everyone who lives in this city. In the left column of this homepage, click on 'favorite links'. Scroll down the page to 'Schools'. Under that heading you will see a link entitled 'Livonia Elementary School Reorganization Plan known as the Legacy.' Click on this link and it will take you directly to Citizens for Livonia's Future's website. All the details of this horrible situation are there for you to read. You owe it to yourself to read this immediately!! Sincerely, Michael R. Worley REMERICA Liberty Real Estate http://www.dover-arbor-triangle.com/ |

Thank You Michael R. Worley,,,I almost hope that word does not get out if I resort to selling my home. But that would be like not disclosing Lead or Mold wouldn't it. Ah consious,,,a mysterious thing,,,how some have it and some don't. |

Actually...you dont have disclose anything about the school information. There is no disclosure for that. It is public knowledge and it is up to their REALTOR and the buyer to find out that info. If they ask your agent..then yes they can give out that info or direct them where to find it. If he tagged that to a listing...(as and agent and a seller) I would not be happy. Its a double edged sword really...nice that he put it out there...trying to educate and get some help for our cause. But on the other hand..I personally think that would not help the seller in anyway. I would not want that on my listing. I do think the neighborhoods in which the schools are closing..will be effected the most. ( I live in one by the way) But there is another side to that as well...some people dont care about the config. They will be happy to move here. We moved here for the schools however..never would have if I would have known. P.S I am talking about having a seller as a client...if I just had a buyer...then I would tell them..it would be my fiduciary duty. |
