Very Nice,,,Thank You, and Thank You again. If this goes thru, and with the newly inspired proactive community maybe we can make Livonia Public Schools a Legacy to be proud of.

Everyone please continue to go to the board meetings and SPEAK OUT! Lets keep this on the front page of the Observer. Headlines, Parents Refuse To Give Up Recall Board Of Education, Legacy Initiative Stopped. Hold on to this vision. We CAN do this. We WILL do this. |

I don't mean to put a damper on a lawsuit (I'm all for it, if it can work), but attorney's will say anything to take your fees. And I don't mean that in an unethical sense at all. They need retainer fees--so we spend several thousand dollars--nothing happens--they've gotten paid and life goes on. It's just families around Livonia are out $$$. As an example: I've had three clients have good medical malpractice claims in the past few years, the attorney's all said, don't worry, it's a sure thing, you've got a good case and then nothing. They got before a jury and the clients got nothing. I know Tom Bailey says they've been to their attorneys already with some of these rumors and their attorneys say we don't have a case. So, I say, proceed with caution. |

You want an attorney with a) trial experience
experience in lawsuits against local governments, school boards, etc. It would be nice to have an attorney with successful experience, by the way. It's experience that counts

I do hope that they retain an attorney with experience and professionalism. I really don't think Fieger's group is the way to go. The image is not what I would like to see protrayed. I think it would tarnish our image. I really would be very, very happy if we could stop the LI. See everyone on Monday @ the BOE meeting. |

I agree...proceed with caution. I also spoke with my neighbor who is a manager in a prominent law firm downtown and he spoke with his lawyers and not one of them would touch this case. I am all for fighting what is right here and I support all recall petitions. |

My question is-Will they actually be "allowed" to answer us back this time??? In the past, MISTER Lessard said they are not allowed to answer any of our questions. Is this true or is he just using that statement as an excuse to ignore us further. And why can't they answer our questions??? Is it against the law  Please don't add me to your poop can, Grant1, for asking these questions. |

We can also get Mr. Lessard a 5 minute timer. According to the state MASB website, it is customary to give each individual 5 minutes to speak. Now he can shake that one @ me. It would be really nice to have communications with them wouldn't it. |

loyaltolivonia, this is not a BOE meeting. This is a community meeting where we will get an update on the current recall/injunction/legal options. No BOE involvement here . . . The next BOE meeting is on Monday 1/16 @ 7:00 |
