I asked this question a few times and at one point TAB did mention he had the numbers (maybe he was not referring to my post) but not with him. He thought that salary/wages and benefits accounted for 80-90%. I read somewhere (& still cannont find it) that Plant & Moran's audit for either 2003/04 or 2004/05 accounted for 89% was spent on salary/wage and benefits. I am almost sure it was the district audit on LPS website---then low and behold, the annual report was damaged. Now you can access the annual report and it was not the same one I had read in the past. Who do we contact for the salary and wage information? Do we have to get a FIOA in order to get this info from the BOE? Very frusterating indeed! I have heard that concessions had been taken...whether it was administrators, superintendents, teachers or what....I don't know. |

Jumping in late here, TAB, I'm pretty sure, posted 89% of the 8,200 went to administrative costs, including salaries, etc. Detroit's per child stipend is $10,300, according to DetNews, 1/1/6. Anna Krome |

Anyone can request information under the F.O.I.A., not sure what is fair game, such as salaries. |
