So close , yet so far! Wednesday night we went out for dinner to celebrate the last day of school and start of the Holiday! We had made it to break and no one was sick!! Half way through dinner my 1st grader didn't feel so well. Spent the night puking!! Daughter...next day! Me.....Christmas eve! Mom......Christmas night! How many other people have had this fun little 24 hour stomach virus?? |

My daughter got it on Sunday morning. We heard others in Washington Elem. had it too. It's just that time of year!! So far no one else has gotten it. We are using lots of Clorox to get rid of the germs.

It seems to have made it city wide now. For those who haven't had the pleasure, here is what you get. It comes on very quickly. I was completely fine, ate dinner and 15 minutes after dinner was really feeling bad. This was followed with 12 hours of vomit and diarrhea, then another 12 of feeling crappy and tired. Mostly back to normal after 24 hours. Obviously very contagious, as everyone in our house got it (all about a day apart). I would suggest leaving the kids home an extra day if they get it, even if they feel better ( I'm not a doctor, so maybe one of our doctors here can add to that). Sound familiar anyone?? |

Keep it away from us southenders. We already have enough to deal with Cooper making us sick. (this was just a joke...please don't attack me)
Darn it looks like I'm too late didn't read the second post....it's already here
