I forgot to mention, ask a school of interest, whether they use traditonal or non traditional motessori practices. The is also Livonia Montessori Center for pre-school and Kindergarten only. They are located at 32765 Lyndon, phone # 734-427-8255. |

Just a funny here.........Since I have been researching private schools, schools in other districts etc. I am now receiving a lot of spam e-mails for "Boarding Schools". There are other options out there

c3hull- Thank you SO much for your info. Unfortunately, I don't think Montesorri is for us. First there is the expense, but most important for us, is the fact that our 5th grader needs structure. This plan will disrupt his learning, for sure, but I think the Montessori would be worse for him. Again, thank you for the research :rolleyes: |

The montesorri on Middlebelt is free. But will only go up to 5th or 6th grade in the fall and can not go any futher. |

When I looked at some Montessori schools, I was looking to put my daughter in at the preschool level. I chose not to put her in a Montessori preschool. |
