How do I name a route? All of mine end up created with the name Route1 or Rte1. The files I can name what ever I want, such as To.....usr. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the name of the route within the file. Suggestions? |

Under menu, route planning, highlight your route, press enter and enter again if the route name is highlighted. In handhelds use the same pathway but the choices on the top require you to use the side arrows to select edit route name. Doc Samson |

That's fine for once it's loaded load on the card and into the handheld. I want to do it in the MapCreate software, before it's loaded into the handheld, so I don't have to go through these gyrations. |

In MapCreate right clicking on the route name doesn't work but you can double left click on the name (slowly) and retype the name. Double click fast and the edit route window appears. Doc |

Ahh. That works! I must have been clicking too fast. You really have to take your time doing that. Thanks! |
