I dont have a plasma, nor do I want one. I have a 52 inch rear projector though... The problem with plasmas is that their speakers are tiny, so you need a suround sound system... Rear projection, however, has to have a masive box at the bottom, so it can project. What they do, it they line the front of the box with speakers, giving you lots of volume... Also, the picture on a plasma is very grainy close up (unless they've improved alot since we were looking to get a new tv), whereas the Rear projector is not grainy at all... Baisicly, get a rear projector, not a plasma, they're much cheaper... |

Well, here's something rather ironic. A few days after posting that, we got a plasma tv...I gotta say they are very impressive. The picture allways looks like it's high definition, no matter what you are watching... |

Think twice before getting it, and I think it's worth the price. Yes, they are pretty impressive. Indeed, the picture nearly looks "High Definition Perfect" to me, so yeah. Are you enjoying your new Plasma television now? |
