Hi can anyone give us some advise on vehicle weights Some friends of ours have just bought a Sun Voyger and are not sure about the licence laws she is 34 ft long with a slide and it has a plate saying gvw 18,500 with a tag axle can they drive it on a normal car licence? Thanks for any help. Janet |

Officially NO. Limit is 7.5 Tonnes roughly 16,500 lbs.

Hi Janet Nice coach your friends have bought, but unfortunately as John has said it is over weight to be driven on a standard (pre 1997) C1 (+E) license. See here DVLA for information. I hope this helps Keith |
