Of this batch, it's almost "Gorilla"-like in its idiocy, except with more bird crap jokes and the mutant birds being British for some reason. (Yeah, that's a real motivation to watch.) I really don't want to comment much, as I incredibly disliked this episode. There is only one positive aspect: the Super Robin from back when apparently likes Raven. And, yes, the ending could have worked, until Robin's standard overkill approach. Blah.

Also, for the episode's "twist":

Spoiler: click to toggle

I think this is the first episode where no less than 4 writers (3 for story, 4 for the teleplay) were involved, but whether that worked, YMMV.

Yeah, the ONLY part of this episode I liked, was the robin from "Super Robin" hitting on Raven. That was the best. The rest of it... was horrible and was seriously just a really really really bad episode of Regular Show.

I don't know how they keep topping themselves. It would be nice if the show just remained forgettable, but it keeps inventing new ways to be awful and annoying. Hard to decide if this is the new worst episode.

I can't disagree with that. And yet, the recent episodes were rather watchable... until now. Law of Averages, as I knew we'd pay after Waffles, Breakfast Cheese and Legs. -_-

So, who's the cat in your icon? Yours?

Apparently Birds was really hard. Looking at the Wiki, they finally updated the writers... this episode took more writers than ANY other episode.

Story: Sean Kreiner, Jeff Mediknow, and Dave Stone
Teleplay: Sean Kreiner, Jeff Mediknow, Dave Stone, and John Loy

Seriously!? Why did it need so many people? One or two people couldn't handle it? It needed four? No wonder it's such a mess!

The most annoying part about the series is that I don't know much about the GO writers who weren't involved with the 2003 series (Amy Wolfram, Adam Beechen or Tom Pugsley) or have some comic media experience (J.M. DeMattetis). Part of the 2003 series' fun was psychoanalyzing those writers and their quirks, while I know nothing about John Loy or Steve Borst, who have written the most GO episodes. And I'm trying -- Loy can be good as he was great in Waffles, but it's rare -- except that would mean more marathoning to notate all that, and I'm not that brave.
