When Starfire is the only Titan invited to the Titans East Annual Dance Party, Beast Boy teaches her how to lie so that she can spare the other Titans feelings, but her lies turn all of the Titans against each other.

Starliar Discussion Post
Here you can discuss Starfire's lies and rejoice in seeing Aqualad for the first time in Go! Or, I can rejoice for Aqualad and you guys can look at me funny. Whatever.

Not much to say about this one. The most memorable scene was the one already shown in the preview. I guess the ending was surprising since the Titans actually acted civil for once.

Shockingly not a horrible episode. I actually enjoyed it. I would've liked to see more of Aqualad than just his arm and what was in the preview, but that's fine. My bias isn't important ;_;

First off, I really could have lived without seeing Silkie eating Beast Boy's litterbox. :X

As for the short itself, in terms of structure, it fared better than the others. Starfire compounded her lies, yet there was an actual moral (which is rare, as for a children's series, GO tweaks or avoids or offers completely wrong ones). Yes, Starfire did subvert it as part of the twist ending, yet said moral still remains. And as Sparky said, the other Titans are actually civil to each other, or after Starfire revealed her lying to them. Given how passive-aggressive the GO Titans are to each other (except for Cy and BB to each other, as their dynamic is a slight improvement to their 2003 Animated one), it was a nice change of pace.

While I've been rather harsh on Raven in the past, she fared surprisingly well in this, as she was quite willing to act in concert with the others (wanting to go at the East party, emoting about being not invited). Hope that trait sticks around for a while. (I'm not counting "Gorilla," but I suppose that should be included, shouldn't it?)

And Silkie is the most animated he's been in the series. I never really commented on this, but GO!Silkie seems far more laid back in comparison to his 2003 series form. I'm not sure why the change in personality, but if the trade-off means he'll be used in actual plots (La Larva Amor, plus this one), I can live with that.

As for Starfire and the crux of the episode, I'll address that in a separate post.

As for the Titans East cameo, or more surprising, seeing Barbara Gordon!Batgirl at the party, didn't see that coming. I wonder who else in the Bat-Family will show up next..., come on, Alfred, I know you want to show up.

Yes please! I mean, we got close in the NTT shorts.. but that was about it. I want him, and then we need Red X and Control Freak. I mean... *hides bias* all is well?

Dunno about Alfred. Considering what they did to Wintergreen in the old series, I don't hold a lot of faith in how they'll render servant characters.
