Well, this is good to hear. The fanbase is polarized as usual, but I'm happy to see this.

I wonder if the ratings are based by day, time slot, or overall channel. 1.7 million is nothing to sneeze at, but considering the demographic I still can't help but feel like parents need to be controlling what kids watch a little better. I mean, look at the ages of those children! Considering it has so many MAD producers, it makes since really, but Go! has a younger audience than MAD, which is bad.

Oh, TV Guide doesn't list them... Here.

Since its premiere on the network in April, Teen Titans Go! has been a viewer favorite averaging more than 1.7 million total viewers (P2+) per telecast. In addition, the series is the #1 program (excluding movies) on Tuesday on all TV among kids 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 and boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. Ratings for the series have outpaced its lead-in and prior four-week benchmarks by double-digits with all key kids and boys, and year-ago time period results among Kids/Boys 9-14.

Some of it my guess is that it has to do with the bright, vivid colors and animation. Admittedly, the message the actual content sends is bad for those old enough to understand it, one can only hope the youngest members of the audience are riveted because of the colors and sillyness on there, not understanding the deeper issues us old farts have.

The fella I babysit is almost two, and he really loved watching two episodes I watched. I'm assuming because of the bright colors and animation. He doesn't understand a lot right now. He also likes watching me play Forza, and he's happy to sit in my lap while I race. He also likes watching the cars drive around on Top Gear, so Iono what to say there.

I don't disagree with that, as animation matters more at that young age (which amuses me as a 80's child when any sort of good animation quality was purely by accident). Could also be the superhero effect, as kids are more drawn to that.

And that is depressing, as "we can hope you're too young to remember the terrible messages this series produces" now counts as a potential positive side effect, but here we are.
