Titansgo.net dropped this yesterday. Oh, well.

As many know, WB reps and even the Teen Titans crew have stated that the success of "Tokyo" could lead to more direct-to-video movie releases for the Titans. Turns out they weren't just blowing hot air.

We'd been told by a source close to production that there's been definite discussion for a next Teen Titans movie. We absolutely cannot reveal anything about its plot, but it'd be safe to say that if you think the "Trouble in Tokyo" movie is great, the stuff planned for the possible next one will absolutely blow your socks off (at least in our humble opinion) and will feature things fans have long clamored for, but never received. Keyword's "possible", as with most pitches, it may never even see the light of day. Whether or not we see it depends on how successful "Tokyo" is: both premiere airings this week, as well as the "Trouble in Tokyo" DVD which we've confirmed with WB Online to be out for November 7th (not the 17th as previously reported).

Well, we did Terror of Trigon, a great Titans Hunt, and a half assed Judas Contract. So beyond making Blood human again or giving Argent some lovely screen time, that's about it for me. What say you?

Well, this is decent news. Going from fifve seasons to two or three DTTV movies isn't that bad. It would be interesting to see what they might pull off.

I caught this ealier today on TG.net.

And Rage, you're right. It worked for Batman, with two DTV movies, three if you count Return of the Joker, even though that was a different batman, it could work with the titans also.

So is Wonder Girl fair game now? It may be a great kickback to the orginal party to have a union of the first Titans Five, working together to save their friends from a new threat against the Titans. Maybe they'll throw in some Lilith Clay or an alternate universe deal wear the Titans have to face their greatest enemies: themselves. (Though we've already had dark star, cy and bb.)

Who knows.

Hopefully it will be better than Titans in Tokyo.

Or, they could go the cheap way and have the Big Bad war (Slade vs. Blood), using the only two Big Bads active enough to do something. Hee.

Aparently. It's suposed to have more mature element in it, like the comics have. Which means it'll be aimed at people in their mid to late teens, not younger kids.
